Non-Player Characters, or NPCs, are any character not currently controlled by a human. NPCs will be a key role in storyline information, guarding cities, vendors, and more. Shroud of the Avatar will incorporate Scheduled NPC Actions, described as a Night Watch walking around a city lighting the lanterns and then extinguishing them in the morning.
