| Public vendors are able to store and offer our (player's) merchandise to other players. They display the item(s) for seven days max (R19) and then they sell it for a low price to a local NPC shop, so better cancel the sale and get the item back before the deadline.

| "''You can place any item for sale with me, set a price for it to be sold, and for a small up-fron fee (10% of the sale value, plus 10 gold) I will sell it for you for up to 7 days (or until you cancel the sale.) Once an item is sold, i will send the proceeds to your bank here. If an item does not sell within 7 days, I will sell the item to a local merchant here for you as a courtesy, at the going merchant rate, and send the money from that sale to your bank. As a public vendor, I do have some limits o what I can keep for sale - I can stock 5 items per player and 200 items in total. I can only hold so much! Eventually, if you own your own property, you will be able to hire your own vendors which will not have these restrictions.''"
