Editing Chaos Resistance

Choas Resistance is a numerical representation of the Avatar's resistance to [[Chaos Magic]]. A higher resistance value results in the Avatar having less susceptibility to the effects of Chaos Magic.

=Base Chaos Resistance=
The base chaos magic resistance is half of the Avatar's overall [[Chaos Attunement]].

::*Base Chaos Resistance = (Overall Chaos Attunement)/2

=Overall Chaos Resistance=
The overall chaos resistance is the base chaos resistance plus (or minus) any chaos resistance buffs (or debuffs) from equipping certain items, from consuming certain foods/potions, and from acquiring certain buffs/blessings.

Higher Chaos Resistance can be achieved by:
* Raising your [[Chaos Attunement]]
* Equipping an item socketed with a [[Chaos Ward Gem]] or a [[Chaos Ward Jewel (Refined Gemstone)]]
* Any buff, blessing, consumable, or equipped item that increases [[Magic Resistance]] (items that effect the stat of Magic Resistance will also have that same effect on the resistance of every magic tree)


Lower Chaos Resistance can occur with:
* Any debuff that lowers [[Chaos Attunement]].
* Any debuff that lowers [[Magic Resistance]].
