Midras

Template:Infobox Location The ruins of Midras lie in south-central Midmaer. It was formerly the greatest city-state in the region, and its innermost walls and columns predated the Fall. During the events depicted in Blade of the Avatar, the Obsidian Army conquered the city of Midras, leaving it in ruins.

Midras was ruled by a Priestess. Her lesser priestesses and the Guardians of Midras helped protect the city.

The teachings of the Priestess were credited with bringing peace and prosperity to the Midmaer region, until the city was conquered by the Obsidian Empire.

Template:Spoiler At the center of the city is an ancient Temple in a circular paved plaza, surrounding a small garden and mighty tree. The temple likely predated the Fall, and contained an Avatar Tomb.
