Commands vs. Emotes[edit]

Where do you think we should divide what are commands vs. what are emotes? For example, /sit is now listed in both. Since /walk and /run change your animation, are they emotes, or are they commands because they change your character's speed?

This will probably be more confusing in the next couple releases, when they add repeating emotes, so we can't even differentiate them by when they end.

Thoughts? --Browncoat Jayson (talk) 20:08, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

I'd say that emotes can be their own page. I actually made a list and then OneAndOnly sent me what I was making so this list is the actual "/ commands" in game. I think /sit can be moved but /walk and /run need to stay because they change more than just an emote so it's an actual command (also done by a keybind). If they add a /walkinplace that would be an emote.
Additionally I updated the Controls page to reflect this page's presence on the wiki. Violation (talk) 16:56, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
