Most recipes can be cooked by simply placing all ingredients in the cooking station (after you obtained the recipe) if you meet the required cooking skill, others require you to learn the recipe first. Either re-taught by other avatars, or bought from vendors such as Zoe Cornelly in Aerie, the nameless (R44) Groceries Merchant in the Mud Mercantile at the town center in Mud, and more.
