There are several types of crates in-game.

Non-destructible Crates - these are decoration items, and they cannot be broken/destroyed. These crates are decorations that can be found in adventure zones and NPC towns, but they can also be used as decoration by players.
- Crate - this crate is a box made of wood and has metal bindings reinforcing its edges. This crate is not craftable, but can be purchased from NPC merchants (see below).
- Wooden Crate - this crate is a box made of only wood. It is craftable and can be used as a container (capacity 300 items).
- Box Crate - this a wooden wall shelf, and is craftbale.
Destructible Crates - this cannot be crafted and cannot be used as a decoration item by players, but it is present in various adventure zones and NPC towns. This crate can be broken by clicking on it and the avatar can loot the items inside.
