Combat Sigil

Template:Under Construction Template:Infobox Template:Tocright The Combat Sigil displays the various areas of skill in which a combatant may seek training. It is made up of four offensive and four defensive disciplines.

Followers of the martial path use this mighty combat sigil as their symbol. The sigil shows the eight schools of combat that a warrior can follow. There are four armor schools: Light Armor (Cloth & Leather), Medium Armor (Chain & Scale), Heavy Armor (Plate), and Shields. There are four weapon schools: Blades (Swords & Axes), Polearms (Halberds & Spears), Bludgeons (Hammers & Clubs), and Ranged (Bows & Crossbows).

Currently the seven schools included on the Combat Sigil include:

Armor Schools

Shield School - defense using a blocking device

Light Armor School - proper use of cloth and leather armor

Heavy Armor School - wearing of chain and plate heavy armor

Weapon Schools

Blades School - training in swords and daggers

Bludgeon School - training in hafted weapons, such as clubs, axes and maces

Polearms School - combat using weapons with reach, such as spears and halberds

Ranged School - distance combat using a bow, crossbow, sling or thrown weapon

• The Combat Sigil was first revealed in the Update of the Avatar on October 10, 2013.
