I spoke with Doctor Bob and he gave me Owen's key. Now I'm off to Serpent's Spine Foothills to find his hidden chest. Looking at my old notes, I see it's supposed to be near a tree behind Owen's old workshop. More importantly, it's got a false bottom, so I'm hoping that no one's discovered the recipe even if the chest has been found.
