Air Resistance
Air Resistance is a numerical representation of the Avatar's resistance to Air Magic. A higher resistance value results in the Avatar having less susceptibility to the effects of Air Magic.
Base Air Resistance
The base air magic resistance is half of the Avatar's overall Air Attunement.
- Base Air Resistance = (Air Attunement)/2
Overall Air Resistance
The overall air resistance is the base air resistance plus (or minus) any air resistance buffs (or debuffs) from equipping certain items, from consuming certain foods/potions, and from acquiring certain buffs/blessings.
Higher Air Resistance can be achieved by:
- Raising your Air Attunement
- Raising the level of the Air Warding skill
- Consuming a Potion of Resistance, Elemental
- Equipping an item socketted with a Theurgy Ward Gem or a Theurgy Ward Jewel
- Any buff, blessing, consumable, or equipped item that increases Magic Resistance (items that effect the stat of Magic Resistance will also have that same effect on the resistance of every magic tree)
Lower Earth Resistance can occur with:
- Any debuff that lowers Air Attunement.
- Any debuff that lowers Magic Resistance.
