Puzzle Map
This Shroud of the Avatar Puzzle Map was done by LinkofHyrule using the puzzle pieces from the Update of the Avatar releases.
The map was slowly revealed over the course of development in 2013. Initially the map was missing many puzzle pieces; however, with each new release of the game, a puzzle piece was added that showed more of the lands New Britannia. Ultimately, all 35 puzzle pieces were added, and the map was completely revealed.
The process of the map completion was a method to help create anticipation and excitement, slowly revealing the map during development. The puzzle map (i.e. the map with the puzzle pieces outlined) is not available as an in-game asset, but the final map (without the puzzle piece delineations) was released as a digital pdf file. A physical cloth version of the map was given as pledge reward for early backers.
