:Re: the above, it turned out it was actually a result of corrupted property data that was fixed when I re-saved the redirects. HOWEVER, I would like to discuss an alternative to the current system of creating a separate variant for each possible combination of materials- instead of doing that, we could have variants with proper stats for the materials themselves, then have just the "generic" recipe for the actual item. People can click through and see the stat options for the ingredients easily without us having to make 36 or 216 pages for each equippable item. I think this is the right way to go but will require a lot of articles deleted.[[Special:Contributions/67.164.95.3|67.164.95.3]] 16:04, 29 August 2016 (UTC)

| :Re: the above, it turned out it was actually a result of corrupted property data that was fixed when I re-saved the redirects. ::The original decision was that each item would have its own page on the wiki, and since there are so many item variations this does lead into multiple pages. I have ideas of how to do this, including using a new Itembox that automatically pulls the materials. There are some issues with showing multiple item stats on a single page, however. We might be able to get around that by using subpages and/or a separate namespace for query only. I'll discuss this with the other admins. For now, please do not change any of the other variant pages, as we lose the ability to query on them. How do we delete pages? There are some redirects gumming up the variant queries. CanVox (talk) 07:32, 29 August 2016 (UTC)
