Reshape Pattern Remover is a recipe that will remove a Pattern from an item and revert the item to its original appearance (without destroying/salvaging the item). This recipe can be used to remove a Destructible Pattern or an Eternal Pattern, but only eternal patterns can be recovered during removal.
- Destructible Patterns - the pattern document is not recovered during removal (i.e. the pattern is permanently destroyed upon removal).
- Eternal Patterns - the pattern document is recovered during removal (i.e. the pattern is always preserved upon removal).
The recipes for pattern removal are already in your recipe book when you start the game. Each crafting station has its own version of the recipe. The crafting station that is used for the removal process depends on the item that is being reshaped.
- Blacksmithing Station - for heavy armor, shields, rings, necklaces, bladed weapons.
- Carpentry Station - for ranged, bludgeon, polearms, basement entrance, cask, furniture, chests.
- Tailoring Station - for light armor, back slot items, books, banners
- Alchemy Station - for player vendor (and possibly for dungeon entrances?)
The ingredients for the Reshape Pattern Remover recipe are:
- 1 Item with a pattern applied to it already
- 1 Pattern Remover (these can be purchased in the Crown Shop)
Place these ingredients on the appropriate crafting table, and then click "Craft" (don't click "Salvage"!). The Pattern Remover is consumed in the process, so each pattern remover can only be use once.
