Artifact

Template:Infobox Template:Tocright Artifacts are non-craftable magical items that can be found as loot or earned as quest rewards. With the Smelting skill (and smelting tongs), Artifacts of a particular level can be combined with Ancient Essences and Chunks of Coal to create Artifacts of successively higher levels.

Regarding modifications to artifacts:

• Artifact Rings & Necklaces can be socketted with a non-imbued Jewel.
• Artifact Weapons, Wands, Off Hand items, and Chest Armor can be socketted with a non-imbued Gem.
• All Artifacts can be modified with Enchantment.
• Artifacts cannot be Masterworked nor socketed with an Imbued Jewel.
