Template:Infobox Location Despair is a dark Dungeon full of powerful creatures, including Black Dragons, Polar Mutilator Bears, Ferocious Warp Spiders, and Ghost Corpions.
Despair can be reached via boats in Dysborg Ruins, Fishing Expedition, Fortus End, Mud, and Noreach.
Unique Aspects & Loot in Despair
- Recipe: Potion of the Master Death Mage - Despair is the only zone in which this recipe drops. It drops as loot from the Elrin Nayer (a boss lich that spawns outside the outer gate).
- Recipe: Potion of the Stalking Cat - Despair is the only zone in which this recipe drops. It drops as loot from the Elves. Note that a more potent version of this recipe (Recipe: Potion of the Stalking Cat, Aether) drops as loot in the Breach.
- Black Dragon - this is one of only 3 zones where the black dragon spawns (the other places are Southern Grunvald Barrens and Plains Encounter).
- Puzzles that must be solved in order to pass deeper into Despair.
