Template:Infobox Location The dungeon Despair is rumored to be the most challenging area in Novia. It is full of powerful Spiders, Polar Bears, Dragons, and Obsidians, including the rare Polar Mutilator Bears and Ferocious Warp Spiders! You have been warned!
Despair can be reached via boats in Dysborg Ruins, Fishing Expedition, Fortus End, Mud, or Noreach.
Unique Aspects & Loot in Despair
- Recipe: Potion of the Master Death Mage - Despair is the only zone in which this recipe drops. It drops as loot from the Elrin Nayer (a boss lich that spawns outside the outer gate).
- Recipe: Potion of the Stalking Cat - Despair is the only zone in which this recipe drops. It drops as loot from the Elves. Note that a more potent version of this recipe (Recipe: Potion of the Stalking Cat, Aether) drops as loot in the Breach.
