This page refers to the death of the Avatar.
 
When the Avatar's [[Health (Attribute)|Health Points]] reach zero, the avatar will "die" the following visual cues will appear in the game window:
* The Avatar turns into a ghost.
* [[NPC]s, other players, and creatures in the environment will appear as balls of light.
* A resurrection timer will appear at the bottom of the scene.
 
There is no penalty for dying; however, if you let the resurrection timer expires, your equipped items will take a durability reduction (see below).
As a ghost, you can continue to move through the environment, but you cannot interact with anything.
If you have died, there are 3 ways in which you can be resurrected.
* Another player casts the [[Resurrection]] spell on you - you will be resurrected at the location that you died, and you will have
