There may be a way to increase the likelihood that a rare creature spawns (this has not been proven, but anecdotal experience suggests that this method may work). The rare spawns seem to only appear at a few special spawn points on or near a small hill that is surrounded by ruins/buildings. See the map below: the 2 red dots show the suspected spawn points of the rare creatures (although it is possible that other nearby spawn points may also produce the rare creatures). Usually Kobolds spawn at these points, but the more rare creatures listed above also seem to spawn at these special points.
By frequently killing the Kobolds that appear at these special spawn points, you may increase the chance of that a rare beast appears (Killing the kobolds forces the game to re-spawn a new creature at those spawn points. Presumably, the more times a spawn is generated at these special points, the more chance you have to spawn a rare).

Template:Infobox Location The Breach is an adventure scene in the lands of Mistrender, and is available to players with Episode 2 Access.
The special characteristics of The Breach are:
- 4 boss elementals that always spawn
- Rare and/or unique creatures that have a low chance to spawn
- A wave battle that must be triggered
- A Unique creature that spawns in the wave battle.
4 Boss Elemetals that Always Spawn (Not Part of Wave Battle)
There are 4 boss elementals in the Breach that always spawn (i.e. they are not part of a triggered wave battle). Each of these boss elemental always spawn in the same location.
Each boss elemental above has a five minute respawn timer. The Lord of Earth and Lord of Fire are less susceptible to physical attacks, whereas the Lord of Air and the Lord of Water are less susceptible to magical attacks. If you kill all 4 of these boss elementals within a short period of time (under 5 minutes), it triggers a wave battle in the center of the zone (see below).
Rare &/or Unique Creatures (Not Part of Wave Battle)
The Breach has several unique and/or rare spawns:
- Gold Clockwork Dragon (very rare spawn)
- Purple Llama (An Energy Vortex) (very rare spawn)
- Blackened Clockwork Dragon (somewhat rare spawn)
- Tharsus Vrul, a daemon (rare spawn)
- Large Clockwork Monkey (uncommon spawn)
Is There A Way To Trigger the Rare Spawns?
The Clockwork dragons and the Llama seem to spawn randomly (there appears to be no trigger).
Triggering the Wave Battle
To trigger a difficult wave battle in the center of the zone, kill all 4 boss elemental within a short period of time (under 5 minutes) and go to the "Central Pavilion" (an area with 5 circular stone pads that are surrounded by pillars; this area shows up as a point of interest on the compass). There will be 2 waves: the first wave consists of deamons, 4 more boss elementals, and 5 obsidian shards. When the first wave has all been killed (including the shards), the second wave will spawn with Obsidian Golems, Spawn of Pele, daemons, and mid level water elementals.
The Spawn of Pele, a boss lava elemental, appears in the second wave, is unique to Th Breach, and cannot be be found in any other zone.

Trivia
- This PvE scene is a modified version of Dysborg Ruins, a PvP scene located along the shores of the Naryad Channel. Much of the terrain has been altered to provide a chilly arctic feel with more visual changes to come during development. A dark and foreboding fog accompanied by frequent lightning strikes will most certainly put adventurers ill at ease! The Breach will also feature improved performance over Dysborg Ruins, and the creature spawns will be expanded considerably. For players to best the creatures and wave event within The Breach, team-oriented tactics must also be employed!
- Chris “Atos” Spears has created a new style of boss encounter which can only be experienced in The Breach.
