Collect Arcane Catalyst

"I found arcane catalyst on a siege engineer. I'd wager any scout in a siege would give their left arm to get some pieces of this chemical. I should find one in a siege and tell them what I found."

"I talked to a scout that asked me to eliminate as many siege engineers as I can. Also, if I find any arcane catalyst on their bodies, I should bring it to any scout in a siege. I'll get a reward for every six bits of arcane catalyst I turn in."

Begin Quest

To begin this quest, you will first need to collect an Arcane Catalyst from a Siege Engineer in a Town Siege encounter. Bring the Arcane Catalyst to the Scout at the entrance to the encounter and talk to him about it to receive the quest. (This quest is repeatable once per 24 hours?)

Quest Completion

You will need to collect 18 Arcane Catalyst to turn in to the Scout. There are 18 Siege Engineers per siege encounter to loot the catalyst from.

End Quest

After collecting the 18 Arcane Catalysts, return to the Scout NPC, and give him the 18 Arcane Catalysts to claim the reward of gold, experience points, and a Shield of Attraction, Common.

Hints

The mobs in this zone have a fast re spawn timer.

Look for the catapults in the scene to find all of the Siege Engineers.
