Release Dates

Template:Tocright Episodes are the major content updates for this game. There are supposed to be 5 episodes and the 4 additional episodes are supposed to be released in subsequent years after the initial game release at the end of 2014. This page will contain the overview of the episode releases only. The Patch Notes can be found here.

Episode 1

Release 1

Template:Main Pre-Alpha Release 1 took place on December 12, 2013 @ 10:30 Central - December 16, 2013 @ 10:00 Central.

Players tested the Install / Patching system, Login / Registration, Character Creation, Single Player Online, Owl’s Head, Conversation, Bag Inventory, Equipment, House Claiming, House Decorating, and Metrics.

Release 2

Template:Main Pre-Alpha Release 2 took place on January 23, 2014 @ 10:00 - January 27, 2014 @ 10:00 Central.

Players tested Crafting, Kingsport, List Inventory, Character Customization++, Jumping, Run Speed, Mac & Linux, and Recipe Log.

Release 3

Template:Main Pre-Alpha Release 3 took place on February 20, 2014 @ 10:00 - February 25, 2014 @ 15:48 Central.

Players tested Open Multiplayer Online, Chat, Emotes, Braemar, Shopping, Configurable Controls, Crafting Improvements (Auto Place, Take All, Starter Recipes, Recipe Status, More Recipes), Walking, Friends & Anti-Friends (Blocking), Player Housing in SPO, Player Made Music, and Ladders.

Release 4

Template:Main Pre-Alpha Release 4 took place on March 27, 2014

Players are currently estimated to test Performance Optimizations, Overworld Map System, 10 Scenes: The Hidden Vale, Combat: auto attack only, Quests, Loot, Crafting: Resource Gathering, Player Housing, Parties, Mac/Linux Patching, Swimming, Jumping.

Release 5

Template:Main Pre-Alpha Release 5 took place on April 24, 2014

Players are currently estimated to test Combat and Magic Skills, Death System, Main Continent Scenes, Interactive Areas, AI Behaviors (schedules), Books.

Release 6

Template:Main Pre-Alpha Release 6 took place on May 22, 2014

This release added few new features, choosing instead to work on polish and enhancement to existing features.

Release 7

Template:Main Pre-Alpha Release 7 is scheduled for June 26, 2014

The release is estimated to include testing the following 3D Overworld Map System,Player to Player secure trade, Water Lots, NPC Collision / Responsiveness, Animals, Player Housing Built-in Lighting, Scenes, Crafting, Lighting Fine-Tuning, Character Faces and Skins, 64 Bit Build, Promotional Trailer, and New Pledge Rewards, New Pledge Tiers.

Release 8

Template:Main Release 8 is scheduled for July 24, 2014
