Template:Under Construction Template:Infobox Template:Tocright The Combat Sigil displays the various areas of skill in which a combatant may seek training. It is made up of four offensive and four defensive disciplines.
- Followers of the martial path use this mighty combat sigil as their symbol. The sigil shows the eight schools of combat that a warrior can follow. There are four armor schools: Light Armor (Cloth & Leather), Medium Armor (Chain & Scale), Heavy Armor (Plate), and Shields. There are four weapon schools: Blades (Swords & Axes), Polearms (Halberds & Spears), Bludgeons (Hammers & Clubs), and Ranged (Bows & Crossbows).[1]
Skills included on the Combat Sigil include:
- Blades School - training in swords and daggers
- Shield School - defense using a blocking device
- Ranged School - distance combat using a bow, crossbow, sling or thrown weapon
- Light Armor School - proper use of light armor
- Bludgeon School - training in hafted weapons, such as clubs, axes and maces
- Tactics School - tactical skills
- Polearms School - combat using weapons with reach, such as spears and halberds
- Heavy Armor School - wearing of heavy armor
