This table used to tabulate summoning levels all for [[Tamed Creatures]]. But we now have a nice listing of [[Non-Combat Pet]]s, and each of them can be summoned with no summoning skill whatsoever: it makes more sense to simply state that, than to list each and every one of them here. This is why I renamed this page Tamed Pet Summoning Levels, (from Tamed Creature Summoning Levels).

A separate approach is also in use, (cf. [[Summonable Pets]]): It may disappear eventually.

Note that alphabetization works strangely, unless parameter limit is large enough that the entire list is shown on one page. (Only the first 50 rows are listed by default? This is because I neither have their taming necklaces, nor have I seen them at players' vendors. I don't guess: I'll add them when I find them. Or you can.

* A separate approach is also in use, (cf. It has the advantage that that page can include a release number under "Last Seen". (Should make it easier to spot obsolete information).

Tabulates required summoning levels for Tamed Pets.

  • Usage: Automatic, as long as the creature's page is listed under Category:Tamed Pets, and invokes template Summonable. (Cleverly disguised as a link to this page, template Summonable invisibly defines the parameters we tabulate here. Of course, said parameters could be defined in other ways: template Summonable seemed the least invasive).

If you want to help, I suggest you invoke template Summonable, with the appropriate summoning level, under "See Also" on the creature's page. Your data should show up here eventually, (when the page refreshes?).

Notes:

  • This table used to tabulate summoning levels all for Tamed Creatures. But we now have a nice listing of Non-Combat Pets, and each of them can be summoned with no summoning skill whatsoever: it makes more sense to simply state that, than to list each and every one of them here. This is why I renamed this page Tamed Pet Summoning Levels, (from Tamed Creature Summoning Levels).
  • Note that alphabetization works strangely, unless parameter limit is large enough that the entire list is shown on one page. (Only the first 50 rows are listed by default? If one manually sorts that by Tamed Pet, only those 50 entires are alphabetized: even if creatures listed on subsequent pages should come first, alphabetically). This is why the limit parameter is set so high.
  • Of the 147 creatures listed under Category:Tamed Pets, we are missing 7, (as of Thursday 1 June 2023): Huge Purple Wyvern, Huge White Wyvern, Juvenile Black Dragon, Juvenile Red Dragon, Large Purple Wyvern, Large White Wyvern, and Young Red Dragon. This is because I neither have their taming necklaces, nor have I seen them at players' vendors. I don't guess: I'll add them when I find them. Or you can.
  • If you find obsolete or incorrect information, you should be able to correct the information. As mentioned above, simply modify or remove the invocation of template Summonable on the creature's page.
  • A separate approach is also in use, (cf. Taming Necklace Summoning Levels): It has the disadvantage of using an entire page to document the summoning level required to use the given taming necklace. It has the advantage that that page can include a release number under "Last Seen". (Should make it easier to spot obsolete information).
