I created this page because I like having a table of known summoning levels. It helps me choose which pet to tame next. And why not?
Provides a table of required summoning levels for creatures which can be tamed. Only one (or a few?) creatures are listed so far: testing the approach.

I have finally learned how to define parameters "silently", (see template Summonable or Taming Necklace(Pet) for examples: they are invisible if I type them here). These parameters can then be tabulated via an #ask: clause. So, the only question is where to add these definitions.
The names and summoning levels for these creatures must be inserted into the page of each creature which may be tamed. Template Summonable is suggested: cleverly disguised as a link to this page, it may be inserted under "See also".

(1) to the page of each creature which can be tamed, (via template Summonable).
A separate approach is also in use, (cf. Summonable pets).

(2) on a separate page for each creature which can be tamed, (via template Taming Necklace(Pet) ).

I included an #ask: clause for each approach, (test of concept: only one page currently exists using either approach).

I think it's going well. The only remaining problem, (besides supplying said parameters for all creatures which can be tamed), is that MediaWiki wants the label of the first column to be a Property. (The label of the second column, now that I'm using "Requires skill level", is already a property. We are able to use it here because templates Infobox Creatures and Infobox Item don't).

Provides a table of required summoning levels for creatures which can be tamed. Only one (or a few?) creatures are listed so far: testing the approach.

The names and summoning levels for these creatures must be inserted into the page of each creature which may be tamed. Template Summonable is suggested: cleverly disguised as a link to this page, it may be inserted under "See also".

A separate approach is also in use, (cf. Summonable pets).
