The Dirae Prophecies was first revealed in Update of the Avatar #44:
- "...it shall come to pass four long centuries after the fall
- There shall come one from beyond the circles of the sundered moon
- Who shall bind the world together once again
- From its shattered stone and boiled seas..."

This was announced as the "The Dire Prophecies" but this exact prophecy is found in a book named specifically "The Dirae Prophecies" and was possibly a typo in the article.
