Template:Under Construction Template:Spoiler Template:Infobox Obsidian Eye is (brief summary of what an Obsidian Eye is)

Overview

  • the name adopted by the sorcerer who founded the Obsidian Empire
  • the title designating subsequent leaders of that Empire
  • one of the three lenses (Vermillion, Xanthous, and Cerulean) refred to as Obsidian Eyes.

The Obsidian Eye who founded the Obsidian Empire is unknown. Little it known of him, not even his original name. He was an orphan in a small village on the River Meino, near Rhun, where he stole the book known as Lamentation of the Fall, although he could not read it at the time. He had a talent for conjuring and shaping magic, and used it to aid farmers and travelers in the village.[1]

After he stole the book, he crossed the Vaughban Mountains into the Grunvald plain, eventually finding the first of the Shard Falls. Over time, he mastered this new magick, and others with the gift came to apprentice to him, eventually growing into the Obsidian Cabal.[1]
