Template:Infobox Template:Tocright Deceit is one of eight moonlike orbital bodies that revolve around the planet New Britannia. These objects can be seen in the sky. This moon relates to a specific Obsidian Cabalist.

The blue orbital body completes a full orbit every 19 days.^[1]

When this object is within a specific constellation, the Obsidian Cabalist Dolus will lead a town siege in any Patron City that has a Devotional related to the constellation.

These objects can be tracked with a Moondial, to determine their current position and which constellation they may be currently residing in.
Equipping an Astrolabe at night will allow you to see the constellations in the sky, and if any of these orbiting bodies are currently in a specific constellation.

Astronomy & Calendar: The sky above is now filled with a full system of celestial mechanics, including 10 orbital bodies and a constellation-filled star field. All of these move independently and will generate phases, eclipses and multiple alignment events. These are all tied to a calendar that has a direct ratio to actual Earth time^[2]
It's currently unknown who named all eight of these orbital bodies.
