Template:Infobox Item Template:Tocright Adventurer Experience is a pool of accumulated available points that can be used to raise Adventurer Skills.
Players earn Adventurer Experience in combat by defeating monsters, completing quests and using Books of Learning. This pool of points go into a pool named Adventurer Experience. The points in this pool can only go toward increasing Adventurer Skills that are shown in the Adventurer tab in the Skills Window.
When Adventurer skills are raised, points from this pool will be depleted.
- Skill advancement requires the availability of Pooled Experience. A mage who spends all day throwing fireballs at training dummies will eventually find they have depleted their Pooled Adventurer Experience and be unable to further advance Adventurer skills. Your available pooled Experience for Adventuring and Production skills is displayed in the bottom-right of the appropriate skills tab.[1]
Bonuses to Adventurer Experience
As a bonus, every day that you log into Shroud of the Avatar will earn the characters you play 10,000 experience points for the initial character and 2,500 for each additional character on the same account. These points will be added to the shared pooled adventuring EXP.
Avatars that elect to play with others will receive additional bonuses to experience received from combat. Players that play in Open Mode will receive an additional 10% to combat experience received.
players that are flagged for PvP while in Open mode will receive a bonus 10% 25%[2] to combat experience that stacks with their Open mode bonus. There is no bonus for being flagged for PvP in any mode other than Open.[1]
Do note that the above bonuses only apply to Adventurer Experience gained from combat. They do not apply to Producer Experience, or to Adventurer Experience gained from other soruces.
Current Available Adventurer Experience Pool
You can view your current Adventurer Experience pool total at any time by pressing the default k key that will bring up the Skills Window. Click on the Adventuring tab located at the left side of this window. At the bottom of this window will be a display named Pooled Experience. The value shown here is the amount of currently available Adventurer Experience that can be used to level up Adventurer Skills.
You can also type the /xp command in the Chat Window. This will output the currently available Pooled Adventurer Experience (Character), Pooled Adventurer Experience (Shared), and Pooled Adventurer Experience (Total).
Types of Adventurer Experience Pools
There are three different types of Adventurer Experience pools:
- Pooled Adventurer Experience (Character)
- Pooled Adventurer Experience (Shared)
- Pooled Adventurer Experience (Total)
Trivia
- Experience was added in Release 11, but only for combat. In Release 12, experience for quests was added.
