Tamed creatures are placed into a Taming Necklace and can be summoned if your character has the appropriate level of the Summoning skill to summon it. Tamed Pet creatures that can be used in combat, can also be equipped with Pet Equipment items.

Note that all foals are non-combat pets, horses are non-combat pets that are convertible to mounts, and unicorns and nightmares are combat pets.
