Template:Infobox Location Blood River Outskirts is an Adventuring Area,
- The vigilantes of Aerie believe that the elves of Blood River attacked a human settler caravan, unprovoked. The retaliation on the village was justified by this alleged assault. The elves tell a different story of the vigilantes attacking their village because they were an easy target and the land was desired by the vigilante leader. The Aerie regiment that is encamped nearby is indeed there to prevent all-out war. However, they do not yet have solid proof of who is telling the true story. It is up to you to gather evidence and prove who is truthful, or manipulate the evidence for your own agenda.[1]

Tips
- The Outskirts scenes have many areas to jump and fall as you explore the scene. It is recommended you train the Safe Fall skill within the Subterfuge Kill Tree. To learn this skill, you will first need to train the Train Dexterity Subterfuge Skill to level 40. You then can speak to any Adventuring Trainer Skills Trainer and now learn the skill Safe Fall (Basic Adventuring Trainers cannot teach Safe Fall). While this skill is set to training, each time you fall, it will level up this skill, and you take less damage.

Trivia
- For listing purposes on the wiki, this scene is given a tier 1. The scene shows no tier rating.
- Players following the Path of Truth encounter the Elven village of Bloodriver massacred by vigilantes from Aerie. The elves have fled for their lives into the forests upriver and invaded the home of an Elven hermit who dwells in a ruin deep in the forest. They have set traps to protect themselves from the vigilantes who have pursued them here and are harassing them still. Elven soldiers from Vertas are arriving from the north to protect them while Aerie soldiers are streaming in from the south east to try and stop all out war between the humans and elves.
- Tucked away in a dense forest, Elven survivors from the recent Bloodriver Massacre have sought refuge and built a camp atop a woodland plateau. They protect themselves from the humans who pursue them they have chosen this reclusive spot and have booby-trapped the surrounding area![2][3][4]
