Blood River Massacre is a tutorial scene which is located in the Longfall region, by the Bloodriver. This scene can only be entered into one time and upon leaving the scene, will be named Blood River. This scene is part of the The Path of Truth series of quests.
Lore
Wars often begin through misunderstanding. The Vertas Elves, descendants of the warrior elves crafted by the Obsidians 200 years ago, seek now only to live in peace. But the men who border them remember the wrath the elves unleashed on their people, and do not soon forget. In this new single-player scene — the opening of The Path of Truth — the avatar discovers the aftermath of what will soon become known as the Blood River Massacre. Can a war between two races be averted?[1]
