Opalis/Citadel of Opalis

Template:Infobox Location The Citadel of Opalis, also known as the Citadel of the Titans, is an awe-inspiring sight. It is a large structure, with a huge, magnificent dome, lit by a purple aura steaked with lightning. The outer battlements are 30 feet tall, with smooth masonry so find that it was nearly impossible to distinguish the seams. Its huge tower stands 90 feet tall, and resembles a frozen, opalescent flame that rises high above the dome. The entire structure is gently curved, almost organic, and much of the surrounding neighborhood features similarly curved surfaces. The Citadel is said to have been constructed before the Fall.

Although it appears completely sealed, those whom the Titans want an audience with are brought inside via magic. Visitors arrive in a hall with two enormous doors, then opens into a rotunda. Three enormous statues stood against the walls, bowed inward with the overhead dome supported on their backs: a muscular man with a hand raised in defiance, a different man with a raised palm open, and a woman with her hand over her heart. In the center of the rotuna, a pedestal holds eight small statues surrounding a central figure of a woman reaching up toward the dome above, but each of these was normally covered with a black cloth. The dome is filled with a fresco depicting a starscape around a portal to a pastoral land beyond. The doors in the hallway open into storerooms, filled with books, inscribed plates, papers, maps and scrolls; the accumulated knowledge of the last three centuries. This knowledge is the true treasure of Opalis.
