Currently<ref>[[Release 20]], [https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/forum/index.php?threads/new-britannian-date.34724/ Bug report]</ref> the date calculation in-game is off by one New Britannia day. This causes the base date to calculate from December 21, 2012 @11:00pm, rather than January 1, 2013 @12:00am as originally intended. If this is corrected in the future, the templates used to calculate the date will need to be adjusted by one hour.<ref>[https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/forum/index.php?threads/new-britannian-calendar.26204/ Developer Depot discussion of date calculation]</ref>
