The Aether Corpion (an Aether Creature) is part of the Seasonal Content. Aether Corpions only spawn when the comet is visible in the sky of New Britannia (which is several months per year in real-life time: late May through September).

The unique loot from this corpion is the Aether Corpion Poison Gland (which is used to make Aether Corpion Poison).

It has several special attacks, with each attack applying a different debuff:

Purify and Purify Burst can remove all of these debuffs. Douse will remove Deadly Poison (which is a fire based poison); however, Douse will not remove Corpion Sting or Corpion Spit (which are not fire based). See Poison for more details on the types of poison and how to cure them.

Corpions are immune to Poison Potion, Corpion and Poison Potion, Corpion Aether, but susceptible to other poison types.

Lore[edit]

Astronomers across New Britannia have noted that the approaching comet has agitated the creatures of Novia and Hidden Vale, making many bolder and more ferocious. Rumors suggest that the aether surrounding the comet has been mutating some of the most powerful creatures into new monstrous variations. Explorers of the world’s most dangerous regions are reporting sightings of Aether Dragons, Aether Corpions, and even Aether Liches! Woe be to any unwary Avatar who stumbles into their path![1]

  • This content is only available during the Earth Summer Season (from June through August). But will vary when it is added and removed based off the Release Schedule.
