Template:Under Construction Template:Infobox Template:Tocright Artifact are non-craftable magical items that can be found as loot or earned as quest rewards. With the Smelting skill (and smelting tongs), Artifacts of a particular level can be combined with Ancient Essences and Chunks of Coal to create Artifacts of successively higher levels.
Regarding modifications to artifacts
- Artifact Rings & Necklaces can be socketted with a non-imbued Jewel.
- Artifact Weapons and Chest Armor can be socketted with a non-imbued Gem.
- All Artifacts can be modified with Enchantment.
- Artifacts cannot be Masterworked nor socketed with an Imbued Jewel.
