Template:Infobox Location The dungeon Despair is rumored to be the most challenging area in Novia. It is full of powerful Spiders, Polar Bears, Dragons, and Obsidians, including the rare Polar Mutilator Bears and Ferocious Warp Spiders! You have been warned!
Despair can be reached via boats in Dysborg Ruins, Fishing Expedition, Fortus End, Mud, or Noreach.
Unique Aspects & Loot in Despair
- Recipe: Potion of the Stalking Cat - This is the only zone in which this recipe drops. It drops as loot from the Elves. Note that a more potent version of this recipe (Recipe: Potion of the Stalking Cat, Aether) drops as loot in the Breach.
- Black Dragon - this is one of only 3 zones where the black dragon spawns (the other places are Southern Grunvald Barrens and Plains Encounter).
- Puzzles that must be solved in order to pass deeper into Despair.
