- Ages ago, Pumpkin Head was a powerful sorcerer and officer of the Vauban Guard. When his master was defeated, his allies scattered to the winds while hunted by virtuous militia. After a bloody battle, the sorcerer and his loyal footsoldiers were defeated and beheaded. However, he used his foul magic to replace their heads with pumpkins and they continued their murdering spree. Pumpkin Head often returns on the anniversary of their massacre to join them in slaughtering innocents.
