The Titans are not native to New Britannia, having come only during the Fall. They are known to seek the lost lore of the past. They are not mortal as humans are.
Template:Spoiler A trio of Titans rule Opalis; Grannus, Boreas, and their sister Sequanna.
Appearance
- They were colossal beings... male in form, muscular and powerful, while the third was a female of exquisite beauty and perfection. Each of them were dressed in beautiful flowing robes.
(Their) voice was a deep tone, so quiet that he might have questioned hearing it if it had not penetrated his bones. It seemed to come from every direction at once. - -Template:BotA, Chapter XVI: Dispossessed
Lore
- "After the moons collided and civilization fell, three great and powerful leaders rose to become the Titans of Truth, Love and Courage, the surviving principles of the times before the fall. Great are they, and great are the monuments built to them. While the Titans themselves may no longer exist, we are still inspired by colossal statues in their likeness, occasionally found throughout New Britannia."
– Lord British[1]
- Opalis is ruled by the Titans – beings whom, by their very nature, know more of the past than any mortal human – and who have been working tirelessly to recover the knowledge of the past. They will know about this sword and what it portends for us.”[2]
The Titans world relied on devices which they would use, and often repair, but did not truly understand. Avatars were known on their world as well. When the Fall happened, it affected their world as well, enshrouding it in eternal darkness and sound; the three escaped using one of their devices and arrived in New Britannia.
Like many Avatars before them, they found that travel between worlds changes how time affects them. They have been active for centuries, gathering knowledge of this world they they might return to their own.
