- The Virtues guide our behavior in ways that promote wisdom and enlightenment. There are eight: Honesty, Compassion, Valor, Justice, Sacrifice, Honor, Spirituality, and Humility. The principles of Truth, Love, and Courage are their foundation. Ethos describes their entirety.
