I am Winston, a SotA Developer. I joined the Catnip Games Team on 24 January 2022.

What I Do
My main role is Data Analysis (DA). I perform DA to:
- support data-driven decisions
- support events, tournaments, and contests
- improve automation
My main focus area is to improve the capabilities of the player community writ large. Areas of impact are:
- player owned towns and guilds
- developer and player events management
- player-created content, e.g., NPC conversationalists
My methods to help the Team and the players are:
- take a system of systems approach
- discover through data analytics
- discover through dialog with players and developers
- execute using server, client, web, and local user programming
Winston and Winfield
I publicly state I am also the real-life person behind the player Winfield of PaxLair. When I focus on things in "Winston-mode", I do the above things. When I am in "Winfield-mode", I am simply a player in the SotA and UO communities. I treat Winston and Winfield as cousins, and that is how I refer to each of my characters and their roles.
