This is the first part of two sequential Daily Quests.
- Part 1: Acquire a Rune Bag - In order to obtain this quest, you must first speak to Sigrunn in Noreach and obtain the "Share Disappearance Details" quest (see Share Disappearance Details for a walk-through of these quests). As part of those quests Pendro, the Magic Supplies Merchant in Yew, will ask you to Acquire a Rune Bag. Once you have this quest, go to South Boundless Forest. Kill the Barbarians (which are called Dyrand, Dyrmuner, and Dyrylar) until one of them drops a Boundless Forest Rune Bag.
- Part 2: Deliver Rune Bag - Go to Yew and give the Boundless Forest Rune Bag to Pendro. After you acquire the rune bag and give it to Pendro for the first time, you can continue to get a Rune Bag and give it to Pendro each day.
Reward[edit]
After completing the quests above (i.e. both part 1 and part 2), you will be given gold, experience points, Elven Brandy, and a Maple Band, Common. Rarely you will also get Wax Cylinder - Yew.
Journal[edit]
I've agreed to collect a boundless forest rune bag for the magic supplies merchant in Yew. He told me these rune bags are carried by barbarians in the South Boundless Forest. So now I'm off to a barbarian community where I'll have to "convince" one of them to part with one of these mystical bags.
