Eleven of the [[NPC Town]]s on the [[Novia]] continent are Patron Cities, which means they contain a [[Devotionals|Devotional]] dedicated to one of the [[Virtues]]/[[Principles]] and they espouse the Virtue/Principles of that devotional.

Eleven of the [[NPC Town]]s that are found on the [[Novia]] continent of [[New Britannia]] have [[Devotionals]] dedicated to one of the three [[Principles]] or eight [[Virtues]]. When a devotional is within a specific NPC Town it is considered a Patron City.


The current alignment of [[Cabalist Moons]] in the sky will cause each city to fall under a [[Town Sieges|Town Siege]] periodically.
Because Patron Cities contain a devotional, they will periodically come under siege by the [[Obsidian Cabalists]].
