This page refers to many quests, each if which starts with talking to a devotional caretaker in a [[Patron City]] and involves the killing of one or more [[Obsidian Cabalists]] in the [[Town Sieges]]. Each of the quests can be performed one time.


The devoationals blessings are
==Caretakers & The Devotionals They Take Care Of==
 
A [[Devotionals|Devotional]] is a shrine to one of the 8 [[Virtues]] and to 1 or more of the 3 [[Principles]], and it applies a [[Blessings#Devotional_Blessings|Devotional Blessing]] buff when the avatar jumps in its pool. Certain [[NPC Town]]s are considered [[Patron City|Patron Cities]] because they contain only one devotional and espouse the [[Virtues| Virtue]] and [[Principles]] associated with that devotional. Each of these Patron Cities also has a caretaker that stands near the devotional.


5-Day Devotional Blessings (all of these last 5 days; you can have a maximum of 2 of these active at the same time).<br>How strong the blessing from these will vary by how many lots have been claimed in a Player Owned Town. The ones in NPC Towns are fixed values.

Talk to the caretakers at the devotionals in each of the cities listed above, and mention the name of a cabalist that opposes their patron virtue. Most caretakers will ask you to eliminate one cabalist (the one that opposes their patron virtue), while the caretakers in Resolute, Aerie, and Ardoris will ask you to eliminate four cabalists.

Go to [[Town Sieges]] and kill the [[Obsidian Cabalists]].  Return to each caretaker and tell them that you killed the cabalist(s) that they requested, and they will give you a reward of gold, [[Adventurer Experience]], and [[Producer Experience]].

Caretakers & The Devotionals They Take Care Of[edit]

A Devotional is a shrine to one of the 8 Virtues and to 1 or more of the 3 Principles, and it applies a Devotional Blessing buff when the avatar jumps in its pool. Certain NPC Towns are considered Patron Cities because they contain only one devotional and espouse the Virtue and Principles associated with that devotional. Each of these Patron Cities also has a caretaker that stands near the devotional.

Completing the Quests[edit]
