{{PAGENAME}}s are further classified into two different [[Pet]] types: [[Tamed Pet|Tamed Pet (Combat)]] and [[Non-Combat Pet|Tamed Pet (Non-combat)]]. 


This page refers to Tamed Pets (Combat), which will follow and assist The Avatar in combat, but cannot be used as decoration.

These [[Tamed Creatures]] can be summoned by the Avatar using an equipped [[Taming Necklace]] and the [[Summoning]] skill in the [[Taming]] tree.

*Note: These creatures can be tamed but cannot be used for combat.
* Adult horses are convertible to [[mounts]].

==Pet Equipment==
* Tamed Pets and [[Magic Summons]] can use any combination of [[Pet Equipment]] items. You can equip one item in each of the 3 pet equipment slots on the [[Pet Character Sheet]]: Accessory slot, Collar slot, and Toy slot.

==Pet Food==
* Tamed Pets can receive buffs when the Avatar consumes [[Pet Food]]. These foods only benefit a summoned Tamed Pet.
* [[Magic Summons]] can receive buffs when the Avatar consumes [[Summoned Creature Food]]. These foods only benefit an active magic summons.
