 0:05 41 to the community and you guys are
 0:07 many of you are playing right now in the
 0:09 dance party we have developers that are
 0:11 in the dance party as well and there are
 0:13 other community events are kicking off

 0:18 double check you guys can't hear the
 0:20 music anymore but you can hear me I hope

 0:25 discord we're monitoring both right now
 0:27 we're to be giving away some cool prizes
 0:28 you guys know we do that every single
 0:30 time I've got to double up of all the
 0:32 prizes again we got three different
 0:34 things we're giving away if I go list
 0:36 those off right now we gots to chill for
 0:37 a cloak of your choice
 0:39 that's a combat magic or crafting cloak
 0:41 we have three of those clothes in the
 0:42 store in fact today we put out a three
 0:46 pack of those you can if you want all
 0:49 three you can go and get all three but
 0:51 we're giving away two of your choice

 2:08 talking about over the last couple of
 2:09 weeks we have three outs Christine -
 2:11 overall they're coming to the game
 2:13 Foles free jet outskirts is in the game
 2:15 right now you can check it out so what
 2:16 you see today with Travis you're gonna
 2:18 be able to check out in the game
 2:20 although we're going to be using unity
 2:22 so there may be some tweaks or something
 2:23 that you know are not yet fixed in the
 2:26 air I don't know but basically you'll
 2:28 see the health person is pretty cool and
 2:30 neck the next part - which is not next
 2:34 week but a couple weeks from now in May
 2:36 we're going to have a part two of
 2:38 outskirts to continue the showing you of
 2:42 these themes and that's going to be
 2:43 about hi Vale and then the third and
 2:46 final outskirts or Lisa - the final for
 2:48 the moment of the three that we
 2:50 initially are planning for the game so
 2:53 you're going to be a lot of cool stuff
 2:54 for these coming up stay tuned to the
 2:56 weekly updates as well for details these
 2:59 guys post in the forums on a regular
 3:01 basis about these out certain seem
 3:02 really cool screenshots but they show
 3:04 off so you're gonna wanna check those
 3:06 out as well in fact the weekly update
 3:07 for this week just went out earlier this
 3:10 afternoon you get you should get an
 3:12 email if you're subscribed if you're not
 3:14 subscribed go to the front page of the
 3:15 website or if you sign up for the game I
 3:17 believe you're automatically subscribed
 3:19 and you'll get those emails in the
 3:20 weekly basis so we talked about prizes

 3:25 people these guys know you in fact you
 3:27 can like in combat with some of these
 3:29 guys in PvP quite good I hear something

 3:58 just taking a breather spoon other
 4:00 players in fact they're all like for me
 4:03 now which I guess the party the party
 4:05 moves to me what can I say
 4:07 so it doesn't start til I get here and
 4:09 it certainly doesn't end all right so

 4:37 through the zones and scenes and just
 4:40 kind of having fun you know live

 4:43 because what we're doing right now is
 4:45 putting together a schedule like it's
 4:46 kind of a tentative schedule of all the
 4:48 times and days that you like to
 4:50 livestream so we've got marquise Dragan
 4:53 on board we've got maybe I think I met
 4:56 this there are peas excuse me I messaged
 4:58 you at one point and mostly a little
 5:00 live streamers that if you guys check to
 5:02 which out on a regular basis to see who
 5:03 would live to me
 5:04 we probably contact you we haven't let
 5:06 me know look at you into the schedule
 5:08 and then soon I don't know about next
 5:10 week but maybe the week after we're
 5:11 gonna have a schedule post a public
 5:12 video community that says this guy on
 5:15 Friday from whenever to whenever this
 5:18 one lots of live streams all weekend etc
 5:21 so you can spin it yeah promotes a live
 5:23 streamers and you can check out who is
 5:25 live streaming it and it's all tentative
 5:27 we don't we're not like you know if
 5:29 they're not live stream we're going to
 5:30 kick them off the calendar almost I do

 6:34 cleanliness earlier in this week and
 6:36 it's we called the magnificent trophy
 6:39 room contest it's actually been going on
 6:41 for a few days now and it's it's pretty
 6:43 simple there's three part if you guys
 6:46 don't know about this contest and you
 6:47 have a lot a house or somebody that you
 6:51 can you know gain access to their house
 6:53 to decorate this contest I'm very
 6:56 excited about because it has a couple of
 6:59 different things that you have to do for
 7:00 it you have to take screenshots as
 7:02 normal of your hunting down a creature
 7:07 there's a couple of different things
 7:09 here hunting down a creature killing a
 7:11 person get their skulls yes you can do
 7:13 that in PvP or fishing fishing this
 7:16 possibility is well all three of those
 7:17 will at the end game you the ability to
 7:21 get a trophy so you can place in a
 7:23 trophy room
 7:24 a room in your house that has all
 7:26 maestro fees so that's first step second
 7:29 step is obviously to create strophe now
 7:31 if it's a skull from a person the skull
 7:33 is already set and ready to go you can
 7:34 you know pretend you're polishing or
 7:36 something if you want but it doesn't
 7:37 need any special attention third step is
 7:40 to place it in your or somebody's home
 7:43 that gives you permission to decorate
 7:45 into a nice awesome trophy room and if
 7:48 you want to take part in that I there's
 7:51 been a couple of entries so far they're
 7:52 very cool and I want to see what the
 7:54 rest of the community comes up with so
 7:56 we got that going right now we're ending
 7:57 the dance party this thing may go on all
 8:00 night I don't know well we're going to
 8:01 depart here in a minute once I get done
 8:03 talking about some of the news of the
 8:05 week from you guys
 8:06 community events are kicking off

 13:34 this week is that released 41 with pod

 13:52 this entire thing into existence with

 14:01 really that's a really most of my news
 14:04 is that it's released 41 so a lot of
 14:06 huge things would end we got lots of new
 14:08 scenes that came in we had the coughs
 14:11 ruins come in we had to fall but Travis
 14:15 right here stand next to me he worked on
 14:17 that we had Souls bridge outskirts which
 14:19 he also worked on I think you guys are
 14:21 going to take a look at that today we
 14:25 also had ver Dantas Minds come online
 14:28 and we also had new gear decorations
 14:33 come in as well so all the head gear and
 14:36 the shield and tools and some more
 14:38 weapons so over 200 of those more
 14:41 patterns in fact we've now added the
 14:45 ability for decorations to use the
 14:48 pattern system so now books can have
 14:51 custom covers using the pattern system
 14:53 and we're going to use that same pattern
 14:55 system for chess next release so though
 14:58 we're going to have a bunch of chests
 15:00 that have all the different crafting
 15:01 symbols on them that will be craftable
 15:03 and using the pattern systems
 15:05 that's going to come in release 42 so
 15:07 little sneak peek oh what's one of the
 15:09 things coming to at least 42 spoilers
 15:11 and a bunch of other stuff but I don't
 15:14 want to take up too much time so I'm
 15:16 going to jump into five questions see we
 15:18 need a musical logo we have EU yeah
 15:21 Dingle five question communities kind of
 15:24 that they've been doing like that so
 15:27 yeah that's perfect perfect yeah I'll

 15:55 this is a big one why does my XP point
 15:58 keep running out how do I made maintain
 16:01 XP this is a pretty complex question I
 16:04 had to actually sit down with a toast
 16:07 Chris beers to get all the information
 16:09 about this so the way our game works is
 16:12 you have what's called an experienced
 16:14 pool and that filled up by doing things
 16:17 that earn you experience and so you earn
 16:19 experience doing a bunch of different
 16:20 things mainly going out and fighting
 16:23 things that are at least your level or
 16:26 higher so fighting challenging things
 16:28 for instance to earn your experience
 16:30 doing things that level up your skills
 16:33 burns experience so to level up your
 16:36 skill uses experience out of your pool
 16:39 so the way your pool drains so think of
 16:44 this you have a big pool of experience
 16:46 and then you have a bunch of skills that
 16:48 you want to level up so as you are
 16:49 leveling up your skills you're pulling
 16:51 experience out of your pool and the way
 16:53 you're filling your pool is going on
 16:55 fighting creatures now if you're doing
 16:57 things that aren't filling up your pool
 16:59 so doing things like say standing around
 17:02 in town healing yourself or healing your
 17:05 buddies to level up your healing skill
 17:07 guess what that's going to drain that
 17:09 pool without refilling it because you're
 17:11 not doing anything to earn your
 17:13 experience or saying you're sitting
 17:15 there training on your guts ball casting
 17:17 gust over
 17:17 / - to level up your gospel guess what
 17:19 that's gonna drain your experience cool
 17:22 and not fill it back up another thing
 17:24 that could be draining your pool is say
 17:27 you have a bunch of different schools
 17:29 say you went to the trainers and you're
 17:31 like got really excited like I like to
 17:32 do everything and you went and learned a
 17:35 bunch of different skills and a bunch of
 17:36 different schools like I like blades and
 17:40 I like fire and I like death magic and I
 17:42 like crafting and you like whole bunch
 17:44 of different things if you have all of
 17:47 those different skills and you've set
 17:50 all of them to learn they're going to
 17:53 all of them
 17:54 you've got their pool of experience over
 17:55 here you've got all those skills they're
 17:57 all going to be pulling from that tool
 17:59 all at the same time every time those
 18:01 things level up so they're going to be
 18:03 draining that pool constantly so what
 18:06 you want to do is you want to pick some
 18:10 certain skills to be leveling up at a
 18:11 certain time so think about what you
 18:13 want to focus on what you want to
 18:14 concentrate on so say I want to focus on
 18:17 my blades right now or I want to focus
 18:19 on my fire magic or I want to focus on
 18:21 my chaos magic or whatever it happens to
 18:23 be at the time and what that will do is
 18:25 instead of pulling everything out of
 18:27 your pool constantly it's going to focus
 18:29 that experience on a certain number of
 18:31 skills so what you want to do is set
 18:33 some skills to maintain and let the rest
 18:35 let's let the rest sort of sit there for
 18:37 a little while and that way that will
 18:39 manage your experience pool so it's not
 18:41 draining us out
 18:42 so hopefully that kind of answered how
 18:45 that works

 19:12 um so we may have changed last release
 19:17 as part of the new user experience so
 19:18 deck mechanic is a very non-standard
 19:21 way to do combat can again so we we made
 19:27 an intentional choice to start people
 19:28 out with a
 19:30 very traditional kind of locked combat
 19:35 bar like you see in most games and what
 19:39 you now have to do is you actually have
 19:40 to go to a skill trainer and and get him
 19:43 to teach you how to unlock your deck and
 19:46 build a deck so if you want to actually
 19:48 build a deck which is kind of one of our
 19:50 unique features you actually now have to
 19:52 go to a trainer and ask him about that
 19:54 and then he'll teach you if you actually
 19:57 have to do that for free attack and you
 20:00 have to do it for to unlock the utility
 20:04 bar as well so those are things we added
 20:07 last release and I think that some
 20:08 players don't know that yet so if you
 20:10 want to do a gaki outcome and do unlock
 20:13 skills that give Delta you and have
 20:16 multiple decks all that you have to
 20:18 learn from the trainer can I view the
 20:22 house I want before getting the bundle
 20:23 try before I buy yes we have a place
 20:27 specifically for that it's called
 20:28 hometown it's near Sultan which is in
 20:32 the southeast corner of the map and it's
 20:36 right off the coast it's an island right
 20:38 off the coast near Sultan and it's
 20:40 called hometown get it home town full of
 20:43 homes I know we're Sicilians oh we're so
 20:47 clever I'll be here all week people all
 20:50 week and it's write it so we'll be here

 21:22 the boats it has all the different
 21:26 player own town templates that you can
 21:28 see and one of those templates
 21:30 it's the tropical island I think one a
 21:33 which is one of the walled has even be
 21:36 homes we've expired so you can see any
 21:40 of the homes that you want to look at
 21:41 before you buy or build or craft or
 21:43 purchase reverses and so check out
 21:46 hometown and it is all and yes I see the
 21:50 mooch ass on chat is the new ancient
 21:54 temple home there and yes it is I just
 21:57 added that yesterday morning so you can
 22:00 check that out its up if once you load
 22:03 in you'll load in at the docks and if
 22:05 you run through the town and go all the
 22:09 way through the town past the airships

 25:01 outskirts kind of the south east of the
 25:05 of novia I'm not going to talk to anyone
 25:09 but there's a lot of orientation quest
 25:13 by tutorials and we're assuming people
 25:16 never played before don't know what
 25:18 they're doing them so this is definitely
 25:19 an early scene oh this is the second
 25:22 thing you'll ever see in the game if you
 25:24 go down the bow path now where we

 25:42 and they'll be two more that we'll be
 25:44 talking about the weekly updates also
 25:46 have some information about what's
 25:48 coming up with those as well and these
 25:51 are scenes that are essentially kind of
 25:54 sort of all-in-one packages there's
 25:56 resources the like vendors or something
 25:59 to help get you on your way
 26:03 and there's no housing in these scenes
 26:05 as well so every you know every like all
 26:08 the character that you're seeing right
 26:10 now our NPCs except for obviously the
 26:12 one we're using right now is our player
 26:13 because we're in the editor view but the
 26:15 other people who are running around and
 26:17 yeah so that's good good that's a great
 26:19 point so we're in the editor unity is
 26:21 what we use to develop the game so we
 26:23 can show you this scene today but if
 26:26 you're walking around in this right now
 26:28 you'll see other players so we would
 26:31 have lost those npcs in town has some
 26:34 quest there's some quest to learn how to
 26:36 fish there's quest to go out and
 26:39 adventure to the scene to do things and
 26:41 we're still working on now so I think I
 26:43 think if they're pretty fun so far
 26:45 ncredible you know if it's the if your
 26:49 fish here is it is a different fishing
 26:52 here in anyway none sufficient standard

 43:43 right now on a quest trying to finish
 43:46 something for you guys so he he's
 43:49 talking about a couple of other
 43:50 developers right now on a few things
 43:52 and so he's gonna I think skip the live
 43:56 stream and listing has a break here in
 43:59 trying to get a lot of this stuff
 44:01 figured out we are constantly talking
 44:04 with each other but also taking an
 44:07 easier feedback from the community and
 44:10 saying hey you know the community in the
 44:12 forums this is literally how it goes

 44:17 were saying something about this this
 44:19 quest and I think we should do this and
 44:21 then one developer will respond and say
 44:25 something like well yeah we can do that

 44:34 saying and then we talk about and find
 44:36 the best ways to either implement it or
 44:38 find another option that works for
 44:41 everybody I think it's really cool cuz I
