 02:34 October edition and we will be running
 02:37 these for three or four weeks I think of
 02:41 creepy crawly goodness I'm tilting the

 02:46 drop no and you will end up like this
 02:49 guy
 02:50 so we have put that away so we have lots
 02:57 to show you here everybody today
 02:59 including what scene are we Jonah we
 03:02 will be looking at North Chloe North
 03:04 quell way is coming up in our 47 that's
 03:06 correct and we just released 46 right so
 03:10 we're going in order of numbers makes
 03:12 sense this is really going to be an
 03:14 exciting release I mean we hadn't
 03:16 fantastic release for 46 we've gotten a
 03:18 lot of great feedback from the community
 03:19 already and we have much to show you for
 03:22 our 47 but first quick introductions now
 03:26 you guys know MIT sorcerer Steve Estevan
 03:30 Zelda very close by servicers Steve in
 03:31 the forums very very popular in the
 03:33 community everybody wants to see you on
 03:35 preferred lever e week but you know we
 03:37 have more developers to show and then
 03:39 there's myself my name is barrack in the
 03:41 community my name is Matt three
 03:43 understand in real life which is usually
 03:45 rarely you know usually I go by barek
 03:47 that's sure yeah I try to keep it to
 03:49 that as much as possible and I'm the
 03:52 community manager here and we run these
 03:54 really cool fun live streams and
 03:55 speaking of which am I on camera like
 03:58 sort of Lee I'm a little scared of this
 04:00 guy so I'm kind of keeping that you
 04:02 I'm keeping distance of this dude over
 04:04 here if we can get a quick sound check
 04:08 and video check if you can guys can see
 04:10 us and everything looks great
 04:11 we did a little decorating we have we
 04:14 had some extra spare parts if you will
 04:16 that we are honestly not sure what to do
 04:19 with yet so we just hung them up on the
 04:21 wall to dry out a little bit all right
 04:24 so we've got speaking of events and live
 04:26 streams and all these cool things that
 04:28 are coming up in October there
 04:30 a lot of stuff that the community is
 04:32 also generating and you guys I've never
 04:36 seen this many October this many events
 04:40 in one month before I'm the community
 04:42 there are a ton there there's Hatter's
 04:44 land party which I believe is going on
 04:46 right this moment so you're gonna want
 04:48 to check out all of the events going on
 04:50 today and through this weekend in the
 04:52 forms there's a community event section
 04:54 of the forms go down to the release 46
 04:57 and click on that one and you'll see all
 05:01 of the events clean the ones we're
 05:02 talking about right now we have also
 05:04 tomorrow of the release 46 welcome quest
 05:07 in fin du pre at noon this is all
 05:11 Central Time
 05:12 or new Britannia time we also have prism
 05:15 and diamond fields what do you want on
 05:18 your tombstone that's a good question oh
 05:20 I've already thought about what I want
 05:21 it I want to I want like a quote of some
 05:24 famous scientist or philosopher like the
 05:29 meaning of the universe is Atomics
 05:33 that's not even a quote I'm making stuff
 05:35 up at this point it but you get the idea
 05:36 okay what else we have oh by the way
 05:41 prism diamond fields is putting on a few
 05:43 other events over the next few months
 05:45 they always have something every every
 05:48 month and what do you want on your
 05:50 tombstone event is October 8th actually
 05:53 it's running right now I believe and
 05:54 it's running through till some point on
 05:57 October 8th so check out the community
 05:59 events section of the forms again for
 06:01 the details there we also have the role
 06:03 players of the avatar RP OTA comm weekly
 06:06 Outlander creativity spotlight the airy
 06:11 fund has been working hard on a lot of
 06:13 the different events over the past
 06:15 several months but in October we've seen
 06:18 at least we have three or four more that
 06:22 they are producing starting with airy
 06:23 funds think pink fight against breast
 06:25 cancer PvP tournament that is going to
 06:29 occur on October 10th that's next
 06:33 Tuesday at 7:30 central time that's in
 06:36 Festival play around town festival is
 06:38 one of the top spot later recently very
 06:40 cool tone and they're putting on a lot
 06:43 of other events include
 06:44 the extra the upcoming extra life
 06:46 November 4th virtues versus chaos event
 06:50 now November 4th extra that's good an
 06:53 extra life but a refund is coordinating
 06:56 with the community many live streamers
 06:58 on a 24 hour extra life initiative for
 07:04 hours of live streaming the game live
 07:06 streaming all sorts of stuff will
 07:08 probably be in there at some point yeah
 07:11 they're working on the schedule right
 07:12 now if you're a live stream and you want
 07:14 to get involved check out the posts in
 07:17 the community events section of the
 07:19 forum I think we have it linked in the
 07:20 general discussion area as well but any
 07:23 of the leaders of the airy fund will be
 07:26 happy to give you information on how you
 07:28 can become involved let's see what else
 07:31 a bunch of other events all in the
 07:32 community calendar also next week more
 07:37 to what we're doing we have the are 46
 07:40 post mortem telethon so that's coming up
 07:43 on Thursday which is right the day
 07:47 before
 07:48 SOTA con we've been tired a soda con for
 07:51 like the past several months now I'm
 07:53 getting excited more excited every
 07:55 single month that we've actually you
 07:56 know now we're in like that
 07:58 we're actually almost completed with
 08:00 really the planning on our site which
 08:02 panels we're gonna be on we're on panels
 08:05 Friday Saturday Friday and Saturday and
 08:08 how we're gonna become involved because
 08:10 this is a community event and there's
 08:13 gonna be dozens dozens of community
 08:15 members there that are not only running
 08:16 the event but obviously there's there to
 08:18 have fun and I think are you on a panel
 08:21 yes I will be in the world building
 08:22 panel from 10:00 to 12:00 - on Saturday
 08:25 Wow Tord yeah part 1 part 2 will be on
 08:30 Saturday yeah it's not sad okay great
 08:32 I'll be there for that one we also have
 08:34 there's a VIP tour of the studio or a
 08:37 tour with the VIPs at SOTA con and a
 08:41 bunch of other cool stuff and for all of
 08:43 you that we're not able to attend don't
 08:45 worry we'll be taking photos will be I
 08:47 think live-streaming some of it as much
 08:50 as we can and talking more about it on
 08:52 the post-mortem livestream the day
 08:55 before on again next week Thursday
 08:57 so all of that will be covered for you
 08:59 guys and if you are excited about what
 09:01 you see you want to tend the next event
 09:03 we definitely encourage that because
 09:05 we're I think going to have a soda con
 09:07 maybe so con Austin every year a soda

 10:03 if somebody doesn't see it in the the
 10:05 forums and you want to make a mention of

 10:15 to get all those announcements in the
 10:16 forum's as well but I'm not sure I

 10:24 know what you're thinking of if you're
 10:25 attending SOTA con if you're gonna be
 10:26 live-streaming you're gonna be you know

 10:30 from everybody else that's gonna be
 10:31 attending the event it's gonna be cool
 10:33 we're gonna be at Richard's property too
 10:34 which is really exciting
 10:35 yeah there's gonna be a couple of them I
 10:37 think events over there's gonna be great
 10:40 and then of course what we do every
 10:43 livestream is we give away prizes so you
 10:45 guys probably want to know where the
 10:46 hell it surprises when you want prizes
 10:49 so we've got a couple of new items and a
 10:52 couple of ones we gave away on the last
 10:54 livestream we'll start with just listen
 10:56 them off we got the ornate pillory this
 10:58 is my personal favorite 2017 ornate SycE
 11:02 I think that's how you spell pronounce
 11:03 it right yes I so these are the 2017 s
 11:07 are limited to just a few weeks while
 11:10 we're running these
 11:10 promotions for the 2017 Halloween period
 11:15 of this year of this season they will go
 11:17 away at some point and you'll never be
 11:20 able to get the 2017 version again so
 11:22 these are limited edition and they are
 11:24 all in the out on store if you you know
 11:26 you want to see what they look like but
 11:27 we're just giving away these again today
 11:29 and there's there's craftable versions
 11:31 of some of these like there's a
 11:32 craftable site that you can just get in
 11:33 the game there's craftable pillory that
 11:36 you can get in the game so there's a
 11:37 usually mirror images if you just you
 11:39 know I like that you know I just want to
 11:41 craft it and get in the game you can do
 11:43 that 2017 jack-o'-lantern six pack so if
 11:47 you want to decorate your home for the
 11:49 contest which I didn't mention until
 11:51 just now Halloween contest is going on
 11:53 right now it ends in a few weeks so
 11:56 you've got some time to decorate your
 11:58 home you don't have a home don't worry
 12:00 you can also participate in the second
 12:02 part of the contest you can participate
 12:05 in both if you'd like if you have a home
 12:07 but the second part is dressing up in
 12:10 some sort of costume some sort of spooky
 12:12 ghoulish Halloween creepy crawly you
 12:16 know themed properly of Halloween type
 12:18 of costume and we've got the
 12:21 jack-o'-lanterns for the decoration part
 12:23 of that cost for that contest details of
 12:26 the contest and soda con and all of
 12:29 these events are in the weekly update
 12:32 that we just put out so you can go on if
 12:34 you're going on the front page of the
 12:36 website and searching for some of this
 12:37 stuff try the number two for eight
 12:39 weekly update first and all the details
 12:43 are probably in there so you find them
 12:45 right away
 12:46 well we also have oh yes and we've been
 12:50 doing this special Twitter giveaway

 13:56 46 that we put in the game this past
 13:57 release we put those you know put a few
 13:59 extra items in there from the 2016
 14:02 repack and then freshen it up for the 27
 14:04 repack
 14:05 so there's several items in that to win
 14:08 so let's say when we give away one of
 14:11 those and then I think we are well this
 14:14 we can talk about some news after we
 14:17 show North quad ways you're looking for

 16:57 moment here as soon as I captured unity
 17:01 and window there's a unity window okay

 18:15 and ingested it either way do you think
 18:17 that's okay
 18:17 that's yeah that should be fine you guys
 18:19 should be able to hear a little bit of
 18:22 the music but that shouldn't disrupt our
 18:24 talking about the scene right okay so
 18:27 I'm gonna go ahead and move over to the
 18:31 entrance of this map so the map we'll be
 18:33 taking a look at today is called North
 18:36 Quayle way here we go so this is North
 18:44 Quay and it is an upcoming map for our
 18:47 47 is an adventure scene located in the
 18:51 North Quayle region so coming into the
 18:53 map this will be a tier 2 zone as you
 18:56 can see by read to your markers here on
 18:57 the screen so coming in the first thing
 19:01 we notice is that there's been some
 19:04 blood spilled in this area some zombies
 19:07 have been knocked out so massacred yes
 19:12 it's fragile what attracted maybe maybe
 19:14 that's so the story around north quo way
 19:18 is that there's oh here's another zombie
 19:20 guys got his order in him the story that
 19:24 revolves around this scene is that
 19:27 there's this road that goes through this
 19:29 valley and there is this Trading Post
 19:35 that has been recently overrun by the
 19:37 undead and so we get to see
 19:41 you know as a player arrives to get to
 19:43 see the aftermath of this undead wave
 19:47 that just came in and swept the Trading
 19:49 Post and has now laid waste to this
 19:53 entire area so now we can see like
 19:57 streams coming down from the valley so
 20:00 with this map in particular I wanted to
 20:03 really showcase like just this majestic
 20:08 mountain range and as you can see the
 20:11 top of the mountains are snow-capped and
 20:13 then as and then as the snow kind of
 20:17 slowly thaws you know you get these
 20:20 streams that flow down the mountains
 20:22 mountainside and into the Lower Valley
 20:25 so I really want to showcase that and
 20:27 you know you can see waterfalls way off
 20:29 in the distance as well so as we
 20:36 continue who crossing this Creek right
 20:39 here which we've named the Sweetwater
 20:40 Creek across the log bridge and then we
 20:45 slowly make our way into what's the
 20:49 ruins of Trading Post now and we can
 20:51 start seeing some zombies every now and
 20:53 then so there's signs that there was
 21:00 obviously lots of action going on here
 21:02 you can see undead that have been
 21:05 speared into wagons corpses lying the
 21:09 ground blood ladies everywhere obviously
 21:12 something happened here Oh looks like a
 21:14 normal day right the other day is all
 21:17 sunny on everything down in the Quayle
 21:19 region - obviously we can see that our
 21:24 fellow inhabitants of the Trading Post
 21:27 were overrun
 21:28 they killed as many undead as they could
 21:31 but many of them unfortunately did not
 21:35 make it you know we can see signs of
 21:38 smoldering smoldering debris you know
 21:43 they tried desperately to
 21:45 have used your wagons in a way of
 21:48 formation to protect themselves against
 21:50 the undead even you know you've been
 21:54 smashing some of the undead against
 21:56 rocks and a few of the survivors of the
 22:01 Trading Post have actually made their
 22:02 way into this barricade right here so it
 22:05 is here where we will find a few human
 22:07 and satyr and fallen survivors and
 22:09 actually there's a lot of zombies in
 22:11 this area there are all over the place
 22:13 you spawn those right yeah I'm actually
 22:15 undergoing spawning for this map at the
 22:17 moment so lots of work there but the
 22:21 cool thing about this area right here is
 22:24 that collaborating with key we came up
 22:27 with these of breakable barriers so
 22:31 these bears that you can walk up to and
 22:32 break so you can break these barriers
 22:36 they're gonna come in yeah love me now
 22:40 because we broke the barrier what you
 22:42 need is like a blowtorch or something
 22:44 whoa check this out severs I mean I
 22:46 think about this is that you can
 22:47 actually rebuild the barrier really yes
 22:50 well you're being attacked
 22:51 yes we're being attacked in this case
 22:57 but let's see if I can rebuild the
 22:59 barrier here yeah your guys helping you
 23:01 or yeah you guys are supposed to be
 23:02 helping so we set them up in a way and
 23:04 so their faction helps us like they
 23:08 basically helped the player so they have
 23:11 the same faction as you know any other
 23:14 NPC that would kind of like help the
 23:15 player out when there's an enemy trying
 23:17 to attack but there's Auto ballistas
 23:20 here as well so you can see when the
 23:23 zombie waves came in you know our
 23:25 defenders basically took shop here and
 23:27 just you know barricaded themselves put
 23:30 up spikes you know you can see zombies
 23:32 that have been trying to get in and have
 23:33 gone impale yeah I'm gonna break this
 23:38 one right here if you have any questions
 23:40 guys in twitch or discord for Estevan
 23:42 here on the scene north quelle way as
 23:45 we're walking through it just let us
 23:47 know this is a scene that's coming up in
 23:49 the next release yeah and some of these
 23:50 are the bear traps that are recently Oh
 23:52 a couple months I made and then a
 23:56 reroll Oh our environment our
 23:58 came in and he did some new art for them
 24:00 but we actually do have a question from
 24:02 arias who brought about these undead and
 24:05 how powerful are they to make undead
 24:07 creatures that last for me more than a
 24:10 couple of minutes I think that means
 24:12 they're tough uh yes that may be the
 24:16 case this however will be a Tier two
 24:18 area so Transtar at the undead you know
 24:22 they won't be that high level this is a
 24:25 fairly low level map meant to be geared
 24:28 towards like you know initial players
 24:30 starting players okay so here we can see
 24:33 that we're rebuilding our barrier now
 24:36 returning working to have you know once
 24:40 you rebuild this barrier to prevent the
 24:42 AIS from coming in and that's something
 24:44 that Keith and I will be working on in
 24:46 the coming days but the idea is that
 24:48 you'll be able to rebuild this barrier
 24:51 and you know kind of have like a safe
 24:54 zone here you can rebuild these barriers
 24:58 and kind of prevent the undead from
 25:00 coming in that's new yeah that's
 25:05 something that you know we just started
 25:07 working on with this map is the fact of
 25:10 having the ability to break a barrier
 25:13 but then also bleep dough do you sense
 25:15 them you want to be able to do that to
 25:17 survive this sort of ranked trial and
 25:20 troubling times let's give away that

 27:44 actually did play some charred zombie

 27:49 Chris pallid why are 99% percent of the
 27:53 zombies naked amazing great questions
 27:56 you know sometimes they you know in
 27:58 chosen movies will have sort of closed
 28:02 right uh that is a great point we do
 28:06 have a few that are closed like that one
 28:08 yeah see there you go and and there's
 28:09 your answer okay we got somebody who
 28:11 used to were very nice dress and see
 28:13 that one's close to you yeah there you
 28:14 go so there are some otherwise what's
 28:17 the point you know why I have clothes I
 28:19 don't think Dom B's really needed do
 28:21 they so there you go very you know basic
 28:25 clothes it looks like
 28:26 replaced him didn't like what they're
 28:27 really doing her head but so if we
 28:32 continue our way you know we can cross
 28:35 this stream and we come up and we see a
 28:39 trail of blood leading on that's really

 33:04 to randomize on earth so we don't know

 33:26 bond in from the gargoyle themselves
