 0:19 Israelis yes yesterday a little bit

 0:23 that's in the weekly update now that you

 0:27 we're doing here
 0:28 for the set up is a little bit different
 0:30 than last time
 0:31 we've always been in a teeny tiny little
 0:33 window you know like typical live
 0:35 streams are and we'll get to that
 0:37 don't worry you want to you our big
 0:38 faces for too long here I just to the
 0:42 camera so I think you know I tend to
 0:43 lean in so my face like covers half the
 0:45 screen we really look washed out does it
 0:48 look washed out to everybody who a
 0:50 little bit yeah I think I quite you know
 0:53 we're a little washed out but that's
 0:53 okay you can see us hopefully you can

 1:43 storyline and also he's working on
 1:47 another unannounced scene that looked
 1:50 pretty cool today when i stopped by his
 1:52 desk and went what is that and so he may
 1:55 if he gets more polished on on that
 1:57 unannounced scene will maybe show that
 2:00 after what nobody's working on but
 2:02 that's just yeah it's uh it's cool it
 2:06 looked really really neat alright so a
 2:09 couple of news items that i'm going to
 2:10 bring star and he's going to give a
 2:12 a few more announcements he's very
 2:15 excited about Comic Con next week so
 2:17 when he talks about comic trying to give
 2:19 him a cure and going through whoo I'm
 2:22 excited about Comic Con I so jealous
 2:25 he's going and I'm not able to get on
 2:28 that's okay one of these days I'm gonna
 2:30 get the comic all liveries anybody in
 2:32 the community Aviva have you ever been
 2:34 there semia of p.m. informs chat
 2:38 wherever if you're on disk or twitch my

 3:11 there as we're sorting through all those
 3:12 that we took I went crazy there and I
 3:15 took some videos as well so we may throw
 3:17 up some videos into that Ellen - it was
 3:21 funny we we talked a lot of players and
 3:23 they were Malad new players and many of
 3:26 them haven't heard of short of the
 3:28 avatar they may have heard it in passing
 3:30 but never had a chance to really play it
 3:32 or check it out and we told about the
 3:35 free trial which is going on right now
 3:36 we told them about all the key giveaways
 3:39 that are going on right now that the
 3:41 origin PC one the Alienware one ended a
 3:43 little while ago but we have an Origin
 3:45 PC key giveaway going on and so if you
 3:48 see those social announcements on
 3:50 twitter.com slash relative ebb to our
 3:52 Facebook complex show the avatar and all
 3:54 the others see those out there share
 3:56 those announcements because that
 3:58 giveaway ends the end of this Sunday it
 4:02 said that there was another day they
 4:03 gave us that said like Monday so I think
 4:05 they mean Monday morning end of Sunday
 4:07 if it's like three days left
 4:09 - for a chance to win a key there and
 4:11 that's a key like to like get the game
 4:13 so we have the free trial going on where
 4:15 anybody can jump in as new player and
 4:16 check the game out but that's temporary
 4:18 that's like we only have another week
 4:22 and a half or so on that so we're about
 4:24 halfway through that but
 4:25 giveaways like whether you get it and
 4:27 then you can continue to help us in
 4:29 early access here and as we were
 4:31 developed in the game so we with our TX
 4:34 new players coming in with free trial
 4:37 new players come in it we've been
 4:38 getting a lot of really great feedback
 4:39 and thank you thank you thank you
 4:40 community for accepting those new
 4:43 players saying hi in the new player
 4:45 welcome forum we have where we've been
 4:47 promoting that section of the forums
 4:50 because the new players then that come
 4:53 in from the free trial don't get access
 4:55 to the entire forms they get access to
 4:58 new player forms and then the release
 5:01 specific forms and I don't think that's
 5:04 that flashier so we'll ignore that our
 5:07 archive screen saver kicked in here but
 5:10 I don't think it showed for you guys how
 5:13 you play around a little bit okay that's
 5:15 cool all right so anyway a lot of cool
 5:17 things happening in the community well
 5:19 said July's RP ot a dot-coms monthly
 5:24 $155 writing contest the roll plane of
 5:27 the Avatar event this it's been put on
 5:33 for well since I've been here over here
 5:34 now so every month I think that they've
 5:36 been doing this and L Gary and I know is
 5:39 leading or at least part of that there's
 5:42 numerous other events in the community
 5:43 calendar on our website so I just go to
 5:46 community and then click the upcoming
 5:48 events drop-down and you'll see all
 5:50 those events if I don't have your event
 5:52 in there you know of one that's not in
 5:53 there please let me know I always you
 5:55 know get there's events like kicking off
 5:57 every day and I can't quite keep up on
 5:59 those so please not to just let must be

 7:15 every telethon we never quite get to
 7:17 answer all the questions that you guys
 7:18 submit especially from live chat during
 7:21 the telethon we have those now for the
 7:24 most part answered as many as star could
 7:26 reasonably answer in the forum so check
 7:28 that out the Lord British he labels the
 7:31 Lord British telethon unanswered
 7:34 questions or something like that you'll
 7:36 find that in the announcements section
 7:37 of the website forms and he has a few
 7:40 those that we pulled out from that list
 7:43 to reiterate here on the live stream
 7:45 case you know miss the the telethon and
 7:48 can't find the thread in the forms there
 7:50 are a few really really important ones
 7:52 that we thought you would benefit from
 7:53 hearing directly from star himself
 7:57 prizes we have the 2017 replenishing
 8:00 Lourdes briefs birthday cake that's
 8:02 temporary that's that's going away in
 8:06 forget the date but you can go to the
 8:08 add-on store for all these that all
 8:10 these items that were given away I
 8:12 wanted to add on store you can see them
 8:14 in the front page where all those items
 8:17 are labeled new they made some may have
 8:19 a sale tag on them as well because we
 8:21 have a flash sale it just kicked off
 8:23 today as well for a lot of furniture in
 8:26 house related items but the the birthday
 8:29 cake is listed there too and I think
 8:32 there's only like a week or two left
 8:33 something like that before it's no
 8:36 longer available and expires or in a
 8:38 cold backpack we're giving two of those
 8:40 away and a glowing mushroom pack those
 8:44 glowing mushrooms are really cool yeah

 9:00 so the glowing mushrooms there's two
 9:02 types there is there are the glowing
 9:05 mushrooms green orange blue that you can
 9:10 put outside of your home and on your
 9:13 property they don't have like a pot and
 9:15 then there are the potted glowing
 9:18 mushrooms that are you can put those
 9:21 outside too but those are they look
 9:24 really nice for indoors and I think
 9:26 they're cool because especially in the
 9:27 low light they really as the name
 9:30 suggests glow so if anybody has any

 13:33 Comic Con according to this news release

 13:42 making of Grannis Colossus and oh and
 13:46 there's a new contest
 13:47 we need more trailers because we as you
 13:51 know we've been polishing our scenes
 13:53 because that's what I was just talking
 13:55 about polish and we've been making the
 13:57 game prettier every release and
 13:59 performance is better and so performance
 14:02 better frame rate makes better trailers
 14:04 and it's been a year since we've made a
 14:08 new trailer so we should have more
 14:11 trailers and you guys would do such an
 14:13 amazing job and we haven't finished our
 14:17 season best campaign so we can't hire
 14:18 any marketing people yet to make us
 14:20 trailers so we need the help from our
 14:23 amazing community who are all sandy
 14:27 Aegon's wait no that's not true you're
 14:31 not all sandy Aegon's but you should be
 14:33 because it's a beautiful city where we

 17:26 are there any plans to add content for
 17:28 the lower level character so that they
 17:30 can quest their way up and eventually do
 17:31 the main quest without getting murdered
 17:34 I added my own emphasis to that last
 17:37 part wah wah I'm not sure he said it
 17:40 that way but that's what I imagined he
 17:42 said

 18:00 going to add lots more side quests and
 18:02 in addition we are going to make sure
 18:04 that people understand and are driven to
 18:07 go to do the other paths not just try to
 18:11 power through the one path or on so
 18:14 right now the way the game kind of is
 18:16 written and drives you up until last
 18:19 release was everyone kind of picked
 18:21 their one path love or truth or courage
 18:23 and they just kind of tried to power
 18:26 through that one path without ever
 18:28 exploring the other two paths and the
 18:30 game really in the built that way if
 18:31 you're trying to do that without going
 18:33 to the other two paths you are going to
 18:35 be murdered so you really need to go do
 18:39 the other two paths and then hopefully
 18:41 the way the game is balanced is that
 18:43 will level you up enough that you can
 18:45 finish finish the game without having to
 18:49 grind but it is dishes that we need more
 18:54 side quests which would be adding let's
 18:56 see obsidian Tempest ask if we have
 19:00 great a bundle say from a row to a city
 19:02 to get all the things in the village and
 19:04 town tier bundles
 19:05 it houses base with cetera you get
 19:08 everything in be tier below you except
 19:12 for the houses basements and property
 19:16 deeds those do not stack everything else
 19:18 stacks except those you have to you get
 19:21 a little you get a little picking
 19:26 interface where you can decide do you
 19:28 want to keep the house you already have
 19:29 or do you want to upgrade to the one
 19:31 that you get with the bundle you upgrade
 19:33 it and Dawson's Rock just love saying
 19:39 that

 19:42 barracks skull what that's a super
 19:44 important question and I answered and I

 20:44 a darker hue to your skin
 20:47 you'd be surprised at how bad having a
 20:50 really white sclera looks when you have
 20:52 a darker skin so yes those we're going
 20:56 to get more options in character
 20:57 creation hopefully in q4 is when we go
 21:00 circle but right now the priority for
 21:02 priorities for the character art team
 21:03 are working on the noir guard all the
 21:08 outfits for the no regard area so that
 21:10 the guards and citizens and the
 21:12 merchants and even the bad guys in that
 21:14 area I'll have that sort of Norse
 21:16 influenced look and then they're going
 21:19 to work on new creatures and once
 21:20 they're past that then they'll be able
 21:22 to focus on improving character
 21:25 customization and last but not least and
 21:32 when we get back on track because I
 21:33 didn't have done these in order and I
 21:35 did not didn't you ask when I will I be
 21:40 able to eat people well if I my answer
 21:47 is never and Richard's answer is soon so
 21:51 you can choose which you would like to
 21:53 believe and and if you would like to ask

 26:33 is largely inspired by kind of a mix of
 26:36 Gettysburg and World War one over one in
 26:40 general just sort of the trench warfare
 26:42 that they utilized a lot and so you kind
 26:46 of see down here
 26:48 the map is littered at these trenches
 26:52 that have been dug out so the players
 26:54 are going to have to use these churches

 27:26 old battlefield is between these two
 27:29 different warring human nations and it's
 27:33 very old like a couple hundred years old
 27:35 and since then the nations have kind of
 27:40 come together to form one nation in
 27:41 these they've left this area alone it's
 27:44 kind of sacred to them but recently
 27:47 kobold have been building here because I
 27:52 see this area's you know it's just
 27:53 wasted unused land so kind of take a
 27:57 peek over here trebuchet there let's go
 28:00 I think that's the trebuchet right yeah
 28:02 so damage tribute shape over here we
 28:05 have this kobolds or building a
 28:08 settlement you know on this sacred land
 28:10 what is that and some weirdness the side
 28:15 of the cloud it's miscible fix missing a
 28:17 normal we got a couple of questions here
 28:20 normal mammals we're going to see beacon
 28:23 of Brent Seth speaking of rain could we
 28:26 open the scene with rain when are we

 28:37 that we have is a projection decal what
 28:41 that is is it projects an image and you
 28:45 can project it in any direction and you
 28:47 can make it any size you can project it
 28:49 downward and cover a whole scene then
 28:52 you can add these volumes that basically
 28:56 erase it from areas that you don't want
 28:57 and with that we could make snow and
 29:00 other effects and would be pretty simple
 29:05 too you know to do that to a scene we're
 29:08 kind of waiting to implement that I'm
 29:11 not entirely sure if we have the green
 29:12 light to do that yet
 29:14 but I realized yeah I know I know hutch
 29:17 is kind of planning on wanting to do
 29:19 that now it's going to be super cool it
 29:21 even projects on the trees like you
 29:22 could you would see snow on the trees
 29:24 that's correct and you could put like an
 29:26 eraser at the bottom so that there's no
 29:28 snow under the tree we could put you
 29:31 know erase your footprints where it
 29:33 would you know leave your you would
 29:38 leave footprints in and up you know in
 29:39 the snow stuff like that it's just it's
 29:42 going to take a while because we have to
 29:44 put erasers in every single building in
 29:47 the game in every single instance of
 29:50 every single building of the game so
 29:52 it's going to take some time we got
 29:55 after when we plan on actually doing
 29:56 that but it is it's yeah it's being
 29:58 worked out I'm looking forward to clean
 30:01 that yeah I think I'd be quite
 30:04 interesting and probably a lot of other
 30:05 other uses for it as well I'm seeing on

 32:52 more interesting we also have this Keith
 32:55 who helped design the level you know the
 32:58 Olympian Ischl
 32:59 planning wanted to have a road that sort
 33:00 of cut through he called it the broken
 33:02 road and I really love that name so what
 33:05 I did is I took you know I took it kind
 33:07 of literally and I decided to kind of
 33:10 make this this highway type structure
 33:13 that was literally broken but you know
 33:15 it looked like it had collapsed and so
 33:17 meant some work I gotta have more rubble
 33:18 to make it look like it was you know not
 33:20 just a because this is where it used to
 33:21 be a travel there in yeah fell into
 33:24 disrepair oh I got swinging by the fort

 38:20 allowed to touch it and then once I once
 38:24 I'm finished with it or you know
 38:26 periodically even I'll check it in which
 38:29 then sort of submits a change you know
 38:32 whatever it basically replaces the file
 38:34 that's that's in the main project with
 38:37 the one that I have that I've changed
 38:40 and something you know we can add new
 38:42 files and which we do all the time
 38:45 sometimes we remove files that we don't
 38:47 need so I can it'll it up and doesn't
 38:55 affect what you're looking at what we're
 38:57 showing the community right now probably
 38:59 not see about this normal map fit and
 39:03 check in properly and maybe the import
 39:05 settings didn't carry over I'm not sure
 39:08 I didn't see the metadata file within a
 39:10 that's what went wrong I'll probably
 39:11 just use a different normal map we

 57:29 about the game in general they're just
 57:30 getting started and you wondering where
 57:31 it's you know certain scenes where are
 57:34 how do I craft what's a good starting
 57:38 point to to build up your particular
 57:40 skills then go in soda wiki net and
 57:44 there's a lot of great information there
 57:45 community's updating all the time if you
 57:48 know of any articles that we should be
 57:52 promoting and sharing on the website
 57:55 itself on the front page or wherever
 57:57 please let us know we we try to check
 58:00 that on a regular basis but everybody
 58:02 who's listening right now can jump in
 58:05 and edit that wiki and build upon the
 58:09 very useful information above the game
 58:12 yeah straight expensive so wiki yeah
 58:15 it's community based it's community run
 58:17 but we both support it and you know
 58:20 we're happy to to provide any peripheral
 58:23 information that would help flush out
 58:25 any articles you guys are writing and
 58:27 updates to existing articles well until
