 0:42 like the aftermath but I think Christian

 0:47 well now we're dancing with some trolls
 0:49 here some obsidian trolls it looks like
 0:51 so what we have every release is we have
 0:54 a community created dance party that is
 0:58 in any number of scenes usually a player
 1:01 own town like diamond fields right now
 1:03 and there they were dancing from like
 1:06 two o'clock Central Time
 1:08 to four o'clock and right now it's a
 1:09 little after 4:00 and we're seeing a
 1:11 little bit of craziness to afterwards
 1:13 our programmer Christopher's looks like
 1:16 he is spawning a bunch of random stuff
 1:18 thing that I'm seeing
 1:19 something's happening anyway so let us
 1:21 know guys if you can hear us okay if
 1:23 everything sounds good and the video of
 1:25 the trolls I think they may be getting
 1:28 the upper hand with the players I'm not
 1:29 sure which way is going right now but
 1:31 let us know what you think we're just
 1:33 getting started here we've got a lot of
 1:34 cool stuff to show you today it's a
 1:36 little bit special we run to this really
 1:37 fast so far as news and stuff I'm going
 1:40 to have star who's going to come in a

 1:49 release 43 as we work to we were
 1:51 focusing a lot on performance a lot on
 1:54 seen improvements in polish some new
 1:56 scenes there's a lot of great stuff in

 2:00 little bit of that but we've got a lot
 2:02 of it in the weekly update that it
 2:04 should go out a couple of hours after
 2:06 this livestream and be a little later

 2:11 that there's a lot of cool stuff
 2:12 not just in the game stuff but also out
 2:15 of the game events and things to that
 2:17 you're going to want to watch for so if

 2:41 Monday here at the office of Tuesday is
 2:45 fourth July which is elaborations
 2:47 birthday that's actual birthday we are
 2:49 celebrating on the six but it's actual
 2:51 earth days on before and I was all
 2:54 worried about that when I was promoting
 2:55 it was like I make it clear not and then
 2:58 we have really cool attendance booth
 3:01 booth 323 at our TX Expo this other come
 3:06 after the library's birthday batch
 3:08 telefon anyway I'm getting all this news
 3:10 away I'm so excited about it so I'm
 3:11 going to move on to a couple of
 3:13 community events I just want to mention
 3:14 really quick and then we'll get to the
 3:16 scene to it where have three developers
 3:17 starting with Travis here is going to
 3:19 show a little bit of what he's working
 3:20 on if you want to know what we're
 3:23 covering for the three developers we've

 3:42 all of these three scenes have been are
 3:46 now in the game but also are in the last
 3:50 week's update number two three three

 4:01 little bit of information on all these
 4:03 scenes what we're going to be talking
 4:04 about just covering a lot of the really
 4:06 cool stuff in release 43 here that we
 4:08 have for you that went live yesterday
 4:09 and as you can see here players are

 7:59 released 43 now dudes now everyone if
 8:04 you were not doing it do it now log am

 8:09 cleverly is 43 we released it apparently
 8:12 yesterday and affected a large segment
 8:16 of our players hopefully do you have a
 8:18 lot of patched and played in case you
 8:21 didn't know least 43 went live yesterday
 8:24 he included a bunch of stuff the most
 8:26 important things as I talked about last
 8:28 week are the framerate improvements they
 8:34 are amazing thanks the game way more
 8:36 playable it is great is a good thing you
 8:39 should try it out makes the game way
 8:41 better we also had like a ton new maps
 8:45 and polished a bunch of existing maps
 8:48 Travis here hand in that
 8:50 Thank You Travis he did for his colossus
 8:53 the also Paulo styled storms which we're
 8:56 going to show a little bit later yeah
 8:59 so we touched a lot of maps and a
 9:01 beautiful amazing Oasis particularly
 9:05 frustrating and clever at the same time
 9:08 so you will be frustrated do it
 9:12 alright season-best you still have a
 9:16 chance to invest in our future do let's

 9:22 and all of these news items are going to

 10:07 amazing frame rate with the release she
 10:09 may have missed the fact that we
 10:11 released our third quarter schedule
 10:13 update where we talk about all sorts of
 10:15 cool stuff that's coming up in the next
 10:17 quarter so you should check that out
 10:20 it's got some great highlights as you
 10:23 know we we had to push rent because we
 10:27 want to have some more time to test it
 10:29 and adds more features like for
 10:30 Commission so that's going to be coming
 10:32 up next release but there's a bunch of
 10:34 other stuff like different roles for all
 10:37 spawning in offline versus online we're
 10:42 also going to have we're finally going
 10:43 to have looking for group the north art
 10:46 area is going to have its own unique
 10:48 wearables and more new seems the path of
 10:54 the Oracle that's
 10:56 we continue to expand the final colossus
 10:58 map which Travis is going to be working
 11:00 on that's going to be the Garance
 11:02 colossus map that's going to go live and
 11:06 high bail outskirts the last would be a
 11:10 cultures maps that's going to go live -
 11:12 and yeah so a bunch of cool stuff coming
 11:17 up in the third quarter
 11:18 oh we go on I have to mention I forgot
 11:20 prize winnings every single live stream
 11:23 we do prize we give away prizes and we
 11:25 got some new stuff in the store that is
 11:27 but just added this morning man some of
 11:31 it so check that out and we're going to
 11:33 give away some of that just a little bit

 11:45 trial that starts Monday so if you have

 12:12 running for a little over three weeks as

 12:19 same time that's not the same time that
 12:21 the last one ran we actually ran the
 12:24 other one for about three weeks because
 12:26 we ran it over the telephone I'm an
 12:27 announced at like four minutes earlier
 12:29 okay and then we can fit let's pretend
 12:31 it's the law gateway very good I like
 12:33 that sound okay because we like to play
 12:35 pretend
 12:37 all right and oh and another super
 12:42 exciting thing and if you saw livestream
 12:45 I get very excited when we go to trade
 12:46 shows I was super excited about Comic
 12:48 Con
 12:48 I'm also super excited because we are
 12:51 going back to RTX also known as
 12:55 roosterteeth Expo and we have a long
 12:57 history with Rooster Teeth in fact this
 13:02 project was announced on the Rooster
 13:05 Teeth show no one had ever heard
 13:09 the words shroud of the avatar until
 13:12 Richard announced it on roosterteeth so
 13:16 we and so that same year 2013 we first
 13:21 did the live demo of trav the avatar and
 13:25 then the next year we showed on the show
 13:30 floor and we haven't unfortunately been
 13:33 back since but I'm excited to say we are
 13:36 going to be back booth 3 2 3 3 23 right
 13:42 behind the origin booth not too far from
 13:45 Alienware so we're the near some of our
 13:49 hardware partners and so come see us if

 13:55 we're going to be giving out challenge
 13:56 coins when you've given up cards to tell

 30:54 depending on where you are but you know

 33:19 times of increase a little bit the
 33:21 general performance is certainly
 33:23 increased in most scenes and it just

 35:01 you know skill base would you really
 35:02 need to be to handle it to be able to
 35:04 mine and send off the creatures I mean
 35:08 it's not it's not particularly disorient
 35:09 it's maybe a little harder I think I
 35:12 think I'll put them up by one - I don't
 35:14 remember what - this is a sweep some of
 35:16 it yeah I'm not sure I think Mars are
 35:19 usually tier five candy usually when
 35:23 when we don't know the community

 39:11 large blade it acts as a wall
 39:13 essentially you get ten of these flyers
 39:17 with the bullet to point when you get
 39:18 the bulletin board and then you can
 39:20 craft more of these Flyers afterwards if
 39:23 you run out and you can put them right
 39:24 on the bulletin board shows right on the
 39:26 bulletin board when you place one
 39:27 wherever you want in that flat area of
 39:30 the boat the board people walk by hey
 39:32 Scotty honey I'm just describing the
 39:34 bulletin board that we just put into the
 39:37 game and I want to give away I think
 39:40 we're gonna give away that next it's
 39:41 really cool like wall-mounted ultimart
 39:45 system for placing outside of your home
 39:48 or town somewhere and putting notes on
 39:52 it for passerby so a good use of this
 39:56 bulletin board is if you say got one of
 39:59 the new ends that we just put in the
 40:01 game these ends are able to use the rent
 40:04 system once the rent system is actually
 40:08 fully activated that won't actually be
 40:11 until release forty-four we hoped it
 40:13 would have been for this release but
 40:15 there was some other things that would
 40:16 you know community feedback we really
 40:17 wanted to get right and make sure it was
 40:20 settled we're a little yeah that will be
 40:21 released 44 but you can get the in now
 40:23 start decorating and preparing it you
 40:26 know to get it ready for the guests who
 40:27 are going to come flooding in in release
 40:30 44 and the bulletin board would be
 40:32 perfect to put out in front of the inn
 40:35 and use as a incoming our rent coming in
 40:41 our 44
 40:43 if you wish to rent a room please see
 40:44 blah blah blah or whatever else you know
 40:47 if it's an employer on town you can use
 40:49 it for any events or things that are
 40:52 happening so I'm really excited about
 40:53 because one of the things that I always
 40:55 is why we have these community live
 40:57 streams one of the things I always try
 40:59 to do is suggest to the developers us
 41:04 and you know bringing the community's
 41:05 feedback or anything I just think that's
 41:08 really cool that increases the
 41:10 communication between the community
 41:11 between themselves and one the Baltimore
 41:15 system certainly does that
 41:16 of course so yeah I recall it being
 41:18 discussed at one point in time the idea
 41:19 that you know there were people who
 41:20 loved to decorate in different areas of
 41:22 the carrying entire caravans of stuff
 41:24 you know basically from one area to
 41:26 another but they themselves weren't
 41:27 fighters or warriors and and we're
 41:29 necessarily well equipped to defend
 41:30 themselves while carrying sort of this
 41:32 valuable merchandise to some of the
 41:33 place to decorate with and how cool it
 41:36 was to be able to you know talk to
 41:37 people or send messages out to folks
 41:39 literally publicly advertise that hey we
 41:41 need to you know we'd like to hire
 41:43 warriors to protect us on our way
 41:45 through these really difficult to travel
 41:47 through areas so yeah that's mr. hanray
 41:50 thinkin of that we're in a very
 41:51 difficult area well not so difficult
 41:52 actually but we're in GM ghost mode
 41:57 right now so the cold cannot attack us
 42:00 but we're in grafton minds boo boo and
 42:02 just had a see will show us a little bit
 42:04 about what he has done to the minds over
 42:07 the last release so we can pop over we

 43:16 on yeah I'm to kind of follow up from
 43:17 that and there's some really the
 43:20 screenshots of the Crypt just amazing

 44:44 and see the entire map and area that

 44:48 so we were previously in the game partly
 44:51 to join the dance party and walk around
 44:53 and see some of the other stuff the guys
 44:55 are showing but in this case we have to
 44:57 go or we'd like to go into unity itself
 45:00 that's why you see the boundary with the
 45:01 oldest I agree there's no that there's
 45:05 what I'll residents initial root should
 45:07 I sell money I'm sure a grid the weird
 45:08 sky and so just so you know this is not
 45:11 what the game looks like at the moment
 45:13 well for those of you who sit over my
 45:15 shoulder and had a chance to visit with
 45:17 them with us on holidays you seen our
 45:19 editor works to some extent but for
 45:21 those who haven't it's cool to check
 45:23 this out from a builder standpoint
 45:24 because what you're seeing here is the
 45:26 entire enormous a crypt of the avatar
 45:30 underground sort of installation this is
 45:32 the entire scene for this dungeon and
 45:33 the cool thing about this is that you
 45:35 can sort of see a layout that no one
 45:38 else gets to see except the Builder and
 45:40 and in a lot of cases important
 45:43 decisions are made about the nature of
 45:45 this particular place now we you know we
 45:47 don't have a lot of time left but I'll
 45:49 try to you know keep it snappy and
 45:50 commit give you an idea of what it was
 45:52 that I was trying to focus on now you
 45:54 can see the whole thing right here and
 45:56 if you look where my mouse is moving
 45:57 this area up here is sort of the area
 46:00 that you will enter into it and if you
 46:01 were gallivanting around the mid ruins
 46:04 you may find an area that's sort of an
 46:06 old temple hard to find but it's over
 46:08 there at the book described it near this
 46:10 gigantic ancient tree and somewhere near
 46:13 there if you look around in those ruins
 46:15 you'll see a hole in the floor that
 46:16 leads down into this chamber right here
 46:21 [Music]
 46:22 now this chamber for those of you who
 46:25 have seen some of the other artwork that
 46:26 I've read in the past in areas is
 46:28 familiar you know we try to reuse a lot
 46:31 of the same stuff so that we don't spend
 46:34 the terriblest hours for me building
 46:35 areas again begins again but this was
 46:38 close enough the purpose when the
 46:39 original fella who made this map Richard
 46:41 matey was kind of putting this together
 46:43 and so that's supposed to kind of
 46:44 roughly estimate of if you're looking up
 46:47 through the hole that you would normally
 46:48 be seen the sunlight sort of streaming
 46:50 through the rooms above it in the mid
 46:53 ruins map but from here you can now see
 46:57 the interior space and the cool thing
 46:59 about this you see there's like green
 47:01 Lamine block Setzer we're creatures
 47:03 spawn or in this case NPCs that will
 47:05 talk to you this idea of this whole area
 47:09 to give you a little bit of history is
 47:10 that two hundred years before when
 47:13 Madras was was raged essentially by the
 47:16 Obsidian armies when general Karp ASIC
 47:19 came in and essentially just took all
 47:21 the citizens hostage those who didn't
 47:23 kill imprison them some of them were
 47:25 taken off to be reshaped and then the
 47:27 entire ruined city was looted and he was
 47:30 going to have this wonderful parade in
 47:31 honor of himself and while while he sent
 47:35 CNN and erin venice off to go and kind
 47:38 of pick a good route for this victory
 47:40 parade they came upon the ruins of this
 47:42 temple and they fled into it at one
 47:44 point and we're checking it out and
 47:48 discovered this they actually fell
 47:51 through part of it which is what this
 47:52 whole is and landed in this chamber now
 47:55 when Richard mania Ridge '''l he made it
 47:57 we were doing it quickly it was made
 47:59 from like bits and pieces from other
 48:01 maps and things like that but you know
 48:03 that people noticed that hey that didn't
 48:06 doesn't really look like it was
 48:07 described in the book so so part of me
 48:09 wanted to take the time to make sure
 48:11 that me specifically the imagery
 48:13 described was represented so you have
 48:16 this Dyess upon which rests this ornate
 48:20 looking sarcophagus the lid of which was
 48:23 had fallen off and was laying down part
 48:25 of the stairs and in the rubble and at
 48:27 first he didn't even notice it the
 48:29 coffin itself at the time two hundred
 48:30 years before was empty completely and
 48:33 they thought they were going to find
 48:34 something wonderful in it considering
 48:35 that the sarcophagus was you know made
 48:37 of dark granite and inlaid with both
 48:40 jade and gold and precious jewels you
 48:43 can see that the jewels on this side
 48:44 actually form a really cool symbol which
 48:47 they note in the book and it is sort of
 48:48 a more ancient symbol of the three
 48:50 principles with their relationship to
 48:53 the virtues as kind of proceeded in the
 48:55 jewels that you see but with the coffin
 48:58 being empty aaron venice was you know
 49:00 nonplussed until he nearly tripped over
 49:02 this lid and the lives of sarcophagus is
 49:04 really where the treasure lay it to
 49:06 inlaid with jade and gold represented a
 49:10 figure that they had never seen before
 49:14 of course those of you who might
 49:15 recognize this figure would know that
 49:16 this is really an effigy of Richard yeah
 49:19 I actually when I was promoting the fun
 49:22 fact here I was promoting his birthday
 49:25 telethon oh yeah and a lot of the things
 49:27 that we've been promoting this week
 49:29 looking like this you have the flash
 49:31 sales and the welds a new round of flash
 49:34 sales actually that we're about to put
 49:36 out we use this image as the hey come
 49:41 celebrate Lord Bruce's birthday and and
 49:43 someone I think it was Facebook someone
 49:46 said hey you know that's kind of funny
 49:48 and odd that you would use a coffin lid
 49:51 to move and you know I didn't make the
 49:53 connection I was like hey that's really
 49:55 cool I mean you got to use that for this
 49:56 yes the image of his focus of death
 49:58 effigy yes I have a birthday but you
 50:01 know the idea of me of course is you
 50:02 know people are throwing around rivers
 50:04 oh well it just means that we're British
 50:05 you know that what does it mean is he
 50:07 has he returned from the grave well you
 50:09 know if we were to look at the idea of
 50:10 reincarnation perhaps he simply learned
 50:13 British is really the reincarnation of
 50:15 an ancient avatar long ago and that's
 50:17 what this this uh coffin is meant to
 50:19 represent and the whole temple above it
 50:21 and the whole area of the tombs below it
 50:23 were meant to be the avatar that the
 50:26 avatar from ancient times and then all
 50:28 the retainers and the lineage of the
 50:30 noble people representing the virtues
 50:31 were then buried afterwards now the
 50:35 sword the blade of midriffs was actually
 50:38 cradled here in his hands in this little
 50:41 kind of see if there's like a hole there
 50:43 in his hand let her go the sword has
 50:45 gone and it was taken 200 years ago by
 50:47 the hero Aron Menace of the the sort of
 50:50 interest and that was the sword he then
 50:52 took and fled with carp asic one of the
 50:55 sword is beautiful it had a lot of power
 50:57 but that power also caused her Pacey to
 50:59 freak out a little bit when he touched
 51:01 it because it reveals the true the inner
 51:02 essence to themselves and he couldn't
 51:04 handle the truth of what a monster he
 51:06 was so Karan I can't handle I'm certain
 51:08 with your your own monster
 51:10 but Aaron Bennis could and every time
 51:12 you're in Venice used it for the
 51:13 purposes of the virtues then the the
 51:16 principles that his actions represented
 51:18 would would glow and the swords the
 51:20 symbol of the sword in the actual pommel
 51:22 of the blade itself which you can also
 51:24 see represented here with that gem of
 51:26 glow and light up and

 51:45 they're looking at the sarcophagus

 51:48 has decided to take it upon themselves
 51:49 to place a body in here anyway and as it
 51:52 just so happens a book about the
 51:54 principles three principles so it's kind
 51:57 of fun obviously people know what this
 51:58 is for but the other thing you'll
 51:59 discover when you go in here and I can
 52:01 go ahead and do this let's do this right
 52:03 now we'll quickly let's see if it'll let
 52:06 us play and if it lets us play then you
 52:07 can see kind of more what's going on
 52:09 with this place because the too many
 52:10 pieces are in here are actually these
 52:12 kind of monstrous beings that seem to

 52:19 was sort of a holy place a virtuous
 52:21 place and they're what's left over of
 52:23 the forces that we're trying to ward off

 52:36 go that's it oh it doesn't the weird
 52:38 audio maximize oh and then it blows out
 52:41 everybody hears who's watching it well

 53:47 old the old world but but primarily its
 53:50 architecture so you'll see evidence
 53:52 later that the Obsidian stuff end up
 53:56 being created too because of that now
 53:58 semi L is going to talk to me here I'm
 54:00 just going to say farewell I really
 54:01 don't need him to do any of the stuff
 54:03 for me because what I want to do is I'm
 54:05 going to wander around and I guess I
 54:07 should go into godhood as well too we'll
 54:09 see how I do that
 54:09 you see well you are in the ghost mode
 54:13 so finding ghosts yeah there's nothing
 54:14 on to me
 54:15 oh yeah no well so the innominate should
 54:18 attack you let me just say god mode true
 54:20 and then we can get out of here know
 54:22 that they won't be doing anything to me
 54:24 but coming up here in this chamber
 54:25 looking down you'll get a really good
 54:27 view of the sarcophagus itself and then
 54:30 the two NPCs and the reason why you can
 54:32 talk to them they don't attack you is
 54:34 because they've been able to keep their
 54:36 mind through through the centuries that
 54:38 passed certainly since that time and
 54:40 they realize what's happened here now
 54:42 they'll tell you that the last vestiges
 54:44 of the forces that we're trying to
 54:45 defend the obsidians they died in
 54:47 anguish and and their vengefulness keeps
 54:49 them their spiritual life of this day
 54:51 and they will they will you know they
 54:54 want to attack anyone that dares enter
 54:55 into this place and so part of what you
 54:58 need to do is go down into the depths of
 54:59 it past all the symbolism of the ancient
 55:02 virtues which you can see in during the
 55:03 walls and the ceiling you can see it
 55:05 even on the chest of the statue and it
 55:08 mimics of course the stuff that's on the
 55:09 armor of the the avatar that you can see
 55:11 in the effigy but once you go deeper and
 55:13 deeper into here it gets more dangerous
 55:15 just let's see the simple - you know
 55:17 you're in the right place but they'll be
 55:19 the undead will be everywhere and it's
 55:21 because they still think they're trying
 55:22 to defend this place from the agent of
 55:24 Citians and they have no rest part of
 55:26 what you're supposed to do when you go
 55:27 down here is you find a fellow that that
 55:28 will give you essentially the last one
 55:31 of the last statements of the people who
 55:33 defended this place probably died and if
 55:36 you can do what you know you're told to
 55:37 do then eventually you'll be able to
 55:39 kind of put these hopefully these
 55:40 spirits at rest or at least you'll
 55:42 finish the quest that kind of alleviates
 55:44 the mystery of what happened to all
 55:46 these people here but all of these were
 55:48 ancient crypts made to service madras
 55:51 during its years of glory long ago yeah
 55:53 and I think it's fine some maybe oh
 55:56 trying to chill he's trying to kill your
 55:58 little spirit talker commander but the
 56:01 deeper you go into this place then the
 56:03 nature of it changes and you know we're
 56:05 actually still in debate right now about
 56:07 what we want to do about that because
 56:08 long ago would maybe build it he was
 56:10 trying to create a really cool adventure
 56:12 dungeon but they never imagined he would
 56:14 makes a place of huge and so once you go
 56:17 down here and find the last bits of the
 56:19 crypts you see here again they were
 56:20 meant to be part of the crypt complex
 56:22 underneath the temple and interests then
 56:24 it breaks open into an area that is
 56:26 unlike any of the other things that are
 56:28 in there and of course I noticed this
 56:30 it's like this huge cavern that leads up
 56:32 into you know it up and up into you know
 56:34 more crack you know more cracked holes
 56:36 none of this really is related to
 56:38 anything you can find in vigorous ruins
 56:40 which is forget kind of bothersome you
 56:43 can't find that hole anywhere up above
 56:44 and I like to have a you know I like to
 56:46 have things consistent and then it leads
 56:49 down to these you know terrible chambers
 56:51 that don't look anything like a temple
 56:54 of the virtues and so we're trying to
 56:56 decide now how we want to deal with that
 56:58 we really don't need this to be this big
 56:59 but if we do want a huge adventure area
 57:01 then the story the fiction behind that
 57:03 could be in the two different way we
 57:05 could make a deal with this and we're
 57:07 still deciding right now so when were
 57:08 the other word not make this all makes
 57:09 sense but there seems to be a weird
 57:11 temple to almost an evil necromancy in
 57:14 dark powers and when you go down in here
 57:17 you know it could be said that well
 57:18 maybe the soldiers above never found the
 57:20 rest because the obsidians
 57:22 that kind of scared me I don't know boys
 57:24 haha yeah yeah that guy uh so is it that
 57:29 when the obsidians looted this place
 57:31 many long ago when the original temple
 57:33 was built they dug deeper and deeper to
 57:35 make their career their crypts and Kate
 57:36 and catacombs but then they broke into
 57:38 some terrible place that they didn't
 57:40 even know was already here some horrible
 57:42 you know monument to death because when
 57:45 you walk down these hallways and you
 57:47 look through any of these doors and
 57:49 passages leaning out you will find some
 57:51 really strange and scary stuff stuff
 57:53 that you never imagined then pools of
 57:55 blood with skeletons drinking from it
 57:57 you'd never imagined that this would be
 57:59 in a crypt of the verse use so obviously
 58:02 when the original virtu temple build
 58:04 dub down they found some horrible Crips
 58:07 devoted to evil and necromancy and
 58:09 bloodletting on the other side of this
 58:11 path path you can also see this other
 58:13 chamber that again it's like who knows
 58:16 who could have built this but this is
 58:17 obviously some weird place of terrible
 58:19 dark magic and despair because you know
 58:22 you'll find Lich statues adorning this
 58:24 place and and toward you know a weird
 58:26 torture hall that was also some meaning
 58:29 place of dark magic climb around in this
 58:32 place and you you'll actually kick those
 58:33 skulls around they you know they have
 58:36 sort of some physics attached to them
 58:37 you kind of seemed rolling around and
 58:39 kicked around again none of this seems
 58:42 to bespeak the virtues of all so one
 58:45 wonders where this came from
 58:46 and of course I'm sure that if we go
 58:47 with that fiction the builders of the
 58:49 original temple would have wondered
 58:50 where this came from to especially when
 58:52 you go by the very last to this area and
 58:54 you see the the final chamber in here
 58:58 which is currently where the NPC that
 59:00 you need to fulfill the quest with
 59:01 resides this final chamber is a
 59:06 obviously some kind of chapel a chapel
 59:10 devoted to evil and death you can see
 59:12 all the pews on either side and I kind
 59:15 chap is that is that your complaints you
 59:17 feel that you feel at home I have that's
 59:18 very common but it's in this place
 59:20 currently you find the NPC and it's one
 59:22 of the horrible creatures that normally
 59:24 would have developed beneath desolace
 59:26 and the desolace ruins but he will give
 59:28 you the piece of paper that you need to
 59:30 take back up and it's the last sort of
 59:32 the last testament of one of the
 59:34 defenders in this place oh and one of
 59:37 the people literally mentioned in the
 59:38 sort of interest so if you can kind of
 59:41 show him if you can kind of get this
 59:43 from him and show the people up above
 59:45 what happened the new sort of will will
 59:48 help sort of solve the mystery of this
 59:49 place but of course that still doesn't
 59:52 solve the mystery of these crazy
 59:53 chambers that look so dedicated to evil
 59:56 and death and blood bloodshed and so we
 59:59 have one of two options reader when you
 60:01 explain it but you know of course each
 60:02 Citians when they when they wanted to
 60:04 come in and loot this place does a
 60:06 little bit too deep looking for more
 60:08 buried treasure and came upon these same
 60:10 sealed ancient evil chambers that were
 60:13 sealed up so long ago and actually
 60:14 sealed up with the magic of the virtues
 60:16 which is why the
 60:18 the actual temple itself where the
 60:20 avatar script is those beings have kept
 60:22 their right mind they remain sane enough
 60:24 to speak to you and then ask you for
 60:26 your help
 60:28 whereas you know if you come all the way
 60:29 down here and deal with us you're
 60:31 actually also dealing with the font of
 60:33 the power that has kept these undead
 60:34 things alive all this time that in their
 60:36 burning hatred for the invaders but if
 60:39 you can leave that to rest then that's
 60:40 kind of cool you know somewhere down
 60:42 below you'll probably either a novice or
 60:44 some other some other evil being in our
 60:46 game had horrible crypts devoted to
 60:49 death long ago and you can get back up
 60:51 there well you can right you right over
 60:52 there yeah I wouldn't have to far this
 60:54 is the area so so you live is the
 60:56 difference right this one all these
 60:58 areas look like the rural crypts you'd
 61:00 expect to find under a temple despite
 61:01 the fact that they're infested with
 61:02 undead those other areas or areas of
 61:04 absolutely evil now the other option of
 61:06 course is if we don't put the dungeon to
 61:08 me this vid will just move the NPC up
 61:09 put it at the bottom of the normal
 61:11 crypts and then move those you know
 61:13 weird chambers of death and evil to
 61:17 another map and then eventually use them
 61:19 for another adventure sound we haven't
 61:20 decided on it yet so eventually you all
 61:23 will see that change once the decision
 61:24 is made but hopefully you all enjoyed
 61:26 sort of an idea of what all that work I
 61:28 did recently and if anybody it was like
 61:30 to start a forum thread on discussing
 61:32 some of these areas now obviously we
 61:35 have you know other detail plans and
 61:37 reasons why we make change is why we
 61:39 split up Maps or why we keep them
 61:41 together like Scotty was talking about
 61:42 which option we're going to choose feel
 61:44 free to discuss in the forum's on what
 61:46 you see here today with that idea and
 61:49 what do you feel the lore should lead to
 61:51 and you know we read everything in the
 61:55 forums and it's part of you know the
 61:57 development of the game is with you guys
 61:58 absolutely who knows folks might have a
 62:00 lot of fun doing the Blues debrie reason
 62:01 and when I know Richard really loves to
 62:03 read a lot of the lore and story I mean
 62:06 photo with that stuff single-player
 62:07 experience to Zoe he's always in the
 62:09 forms he doesn't always respond you know
 62:12 can not time to always respond to
 62:14 everybody

 62:16 another matter yet so anyway I hope

 62:21 kind of revamping the stuff in here to
 62:23 make sure it made sense based on the
 62:24 blue and then I took a pass through all
 62:27 the other areas which did sort of
 62:28 hastily put together

 62:31 building errors were fixed and certain
 62:33 areas that didn't leave visual sensor
 62:35 will too cluttered were cleaned up a bit

 62:39 a few major errors were fixed we have a

 64:03 lot of things are diable

 64:21 those Kiku starfish has indicated the
 64:23 Temne is despised the opposite of
 64:25 compassion and which is symbolized by
 64:28 the broken moon so so if you go nothing
 64:33 broken because there's one the
 64:34 particular moon of despise which is the
 64:37 sort of a shattered half moon has been
 64:40 broken
 64:40 you can kind of see that in this mask
 64:42 that's what that sorry I need to
 64:43 represent that's a symbols that I
 64:45 developed for all the different all the
 64:47 different I'm sort of pseudo under way
 64:50 than at UPS look at that yeah it's very

 65:54 that having moved on from this area and
 65:56 kind of polishes up to the best of my
 65:58 abilities are still probably some more
 65:59 stuff that could be fixed but but we can
 66:02 touch that later as we find find the
 66:04 missing elements or problem areas but
 66:06 I've moved now on to Ed Center if you'll
 66:09 remember those of you who are around in
 66:11 the earlier days I also created the
 66:12 extra Craig mines and and did all those
 66:16 adventures ends and then the history of
 66:17 editor leading up to the mines which is
 66:19 pretty interesting because Exeter long
 66:21 ago as a pirate town basically and but
 66:24 but only after it was a sort of the
 66:25 Oceanside town there was a mining town
 66:28 that had developed there specifically
 66:30 because of the trade going around the
 66:31 bend and the coast there led to the
 66:34 easiest route down from the Exeter Craig
 66:36 mines to to sell goods and such and
 66:38 trade them for the
 66:40 bounty found inside the mines so it was
 66:43 a mining town first and then enough gold
 66:46 and you know filthy lucre begin to kind
 66:48 of flow through town that pirates became
 66:51 sort of involved and so there's a lot of
 66:52 piracy around there and lo pirates would
 66:53 mean this town so it kind of got that
 66:55 part of the Caribbean sort of well I
 66:58 should say early Shane tea made from
 67:01 like the bits and pieces so imagine
 67:03 pirates then moving in an area that was
 67:04 largely a mining towns we're developing
 67:06 and coexisting with existing miners but
 67:10 then eventually the Pirates themselves
 67:11 realized that the mining town it was
 67:16 easier to trade and to get filthy rich
 67:19 from trade than it was to do piracy at
 67:21 the time especially because the Bay of
 67:22 storms is so difficult to navigate
 67:25 there's so many storms and you can
 67:26 easily die just trying to be out there
 67:28 to be a pirate so they decided they
 67:30 decided that trade was more more
 67:32 lucrative and so then it became that
 67:35 kind of Pirates of the Caribbean sort of
 67:37 place where you end up having rich
 67:39 filthy rich pirates starting to build
 67:41 really fancy houses for themselves
 67:42 because they're sort of retiring there
 67:44 now and that's how that whole area kind
 67:46 of built up now that whole area also has
 67:48 a hint of the same core culture that
 67:52 caused the kind of noir drug culture to
 67:55 later on develop on its own and so
 67:58 that's why you have in the book you have
 68:00 mentioned shield maidens and things like
 68:01 that you know gardens and another
 68:04 elements that are almost a Norse like in
 68:06 a way like the noir guard culture is
 68:08 because it sort of it was given birth to
 68:10 in this area but then it became MIDI
 68:12 more medieval after a while unless was a
 68:15 Norse barbaric there you can put it in
 68:18 this terms and the cool thing about that
 68:21 becoming less viking II is that then
 68:24 started to take on a little elements of
 68:25 the Gothic architecture that you later
 68:27 find in like Brittany and things like
 68:28 that
 68:28 mixed with some of the Arctic Castle
 68:31 sort of a set pieces so I'm going back
 68:33 in there now to make sure that the
 68:35 descriptions of the places including
 68:37 because we're talking two hundred years
 68:39 after the obsidians before they were
 68:42 defeated washed in over that place
 68:44 because that's the place where this
 68:45 Great Council was held where the
 68:47 nation's attempted to stop the Obsidian
 68:49 Empire and try to come up with a plan
 68:50 do so you know which is the heart of
 68:52 what was happening there during the book
 68:54 what the obsidians rolled in that had to
 68:57 go away so they destroyed the Baroness's
 68:59 keep they destroy the stockade or just
 69:01 across it left most of the people there
 69:03 because of course you know people needed
 69:05 to live there to mine and the Obsidian
 69:06 certainly want to take advantage of that
 69:08 but they also moved in some of their
 69:09 creatures so the satyrs were brought in
 69:11 along with their fawns and because the
 69:13 satyrs were sort of the they're tough
 69:15 men of you know they were there to
 69:18 basically control the town while the
 69:19 obsidians were in power but then the
 69:22 obsidians fell the obsidians fell
 69:24 leaving behind the satyrs and fauns and
 69:26 so now the satyrs were on their own but
 69:28 they had established enough sort of
 69:30 though culturally with the existing town
 69:35 people over a long enough period of
 69:36 occupation that that they were actually
 69:38 okay staying and so now they were free
 69:42 though free from the Obsidian rule so
 69:44 now the satyrs as well as pawns continue
 69:46 to occupy that town along with human
 69:48 beings and then the and it continues to
 69:50 be a very lucrative trade port even
 69:53 though it's a fairly small town it's a
 69:54 small town small map but players live
 69:56 there you know right obviously and there
 69:58 are still nice houses obviously the
 70:00 trade is still good and the satyrs are
 70:02 still hanging around so that is what I'm
 70:04 trying to bring back into it including
 70:06 elements that point back to 200 years
 70:08 ago you know when you had you know all
 70:11 the different characters that if you
 70:14 call the sister of one of the main
 70:18 characters lived up on the little
 70:19 cottage so I'm going to make sure that
 70:21 cottage is there I want to make sure the
 70:23 cottage is there you can still see it
 70:25 sub ultimately living at these days
 70:27 obviously 200 years of past but you can
 70:29 still see where the cottage is you can
 70:30 still see the ruins of the barons team
 70:32 bareness is Keith and the stockade and
 70:34 then it's nice with the player houses
 70:35 yeah let's know guys if you are living
 70:38 there right now yeah absolutely
 70:40 I still got in there to look at you know
 70:42 check it out and kind of see what
 70:43 changes I want to make I'm not going to

 71:17 wide kind of variety of skeletons may
 71:19 begin and now redressed up by Fletcher
 71:21 so yeah there's probably some visual
 71:23 similar to using a question or the way
 71:25 is any chance some of the minds will
 71:27 remain nice and simple well I suppose
 71:30 nice and simple fault perspective I
 71:32 don't know I'm not sure how nice and
 71:35 simple we we always add like to add a
 71:37 little spice to the adventure good
