Editing An Elven Fisherman's Diary

[000000]The fish here are strong and good to catch for food. We will do well to fish here.

The humans call the river the Blood River. I do not understand why. There is no blood in it. 

Perhaps it is part of what the humans call literature. I have heard that humans will lie to each other and write it down so they can lie to each other from a distance. This seems wasteful to me. We write things down so we remember. If I die it is good that another learns that the fish here are strong and good to catch for food. This will help all of us. 

Lies do not help us.

I do not understand literature.
