==Where to Get Patterns==
* Consumed Patterns can be obtained by
** Salvaging equipment items that have not had a pattern applied (these are mainly items obtained as loot from non-player creatures, such as swords, shields, armor, etc.) - when you salvage these items, there is a chance they will yield a consumed pattern.
** Purchase from NPC Merchants
*** [[Bookseller]]s sell patterns for books.
*** [[Housing Deeds Merchant]]s sell patterns for vendors and basement entrances.
*** [[Decorations Merchant]]s sell patterns for chests.
* Eternal Patterns can be obtained by
** Purchased in the [[Crown Shop]] in game.
** Salvaging certain special items (such as some pledge items and special event rewards). Salvaging will liberate the patterm, but it will destroy the item. 
** Using the [[Reshape Pattern Remover]] recipe to remove the eternal pattern from an item. This will liberate the pattern and preserve the item (although the item will revert to its original appearance).
