==Using the Hidden Decoration Feature==
Using the Hidden decoration feature can be helpful when doing extensive decoration.

You can put all the decorations directly into the palette (which puts them in the "Hidden" state), then sort the palette to show hidden items (click the down-arrow in the drop down-box and select "Hidden Decorations Only"), then decorate by dragging each item from the palette to the environment. If you are interrupted during the decoration process, when you return you simply open the decoration palette and continue  decorating.

Also, storing the decorations in the palette obviates the need to carry around a bunch of decorations in your inventory.
